Wow that looks like a really cool paint job. Really good in my eyes! -
I made a reservation first and did a preorder and in the mail I got it sounds like this: Hi, Our production team is working in full capacity and most of the 3D printed and cast resin parts are completed for all 500 copies. However, number of preorders in the meantime have more than doubled the reservations made for the kit, causing some shifts in the shipping dates even at this maximum production rate. We tried to increase the number of moulds to speed up, however our workforce -already at its 110%- remains as the limiting factor. Initial plan was to start shipping right after the pre-orders close, but current projections show shipping will start around 20 February. All shipments will be made with “International Express Delivery Registered Mail” instead of “International Standard Registered Mail” so that deliveries will be effected minimum. This is the first time we are mass producing a resin kit of 500 copies, making 65.000 total parts for the Skystreak release, so it is also the first time we are experiencing the production timeline in these numbers. We would like to thank you very much for your understanding, which is much appreciated. Thank you, JETMADS Team

Tamiya P-38F Lightning 1/48
Lightpainter replied to andy.m's topic in Ready for Inspection - Aircraft
That looks really great, you did a fantastic job here! In fact I got one as a present last week after I managed to crack a wing of the Resin kit I was building... just as I wanted to start to put decals on it. There was a slight problem in the paint and I wanted to polish it out. Hard words were spoken... I am collecting information before starting to build the P-38 and only hope I can get it so good as yours! -

Thank you for your nice words! I have one more MirkoMir AMP kit lying around, the new De Havilland DH.88 Comet in 1/48 scale. I first need to build something else before I will tackle that one. I am interested in their new Supermarine S-5 too but would like to see the parts before buying... -

Hi Roginoz and thank you for your kind words! I mostly look for the out of the ordinary or special kits too. I am working on my first all resin kit and have more in the stash. I still manage to muck up everything but till now as able to recuperate almost every time... But it keeps me busy and I get relaxed :-) Still those those limited run kits are something else. -
