  1. I am with those who think the next release will be a 1:72 Wessex, as they have appeared on both the new tool F4 and Buccaneer box art. Apparently Airfix only put kits they produce in the background on the box art. Gazza
  2. I'm often at Cosford for reference gathering and, of course the Shropshire Model Show
  3. Its the only good thing about being in Telford Lol
  4. Gordon, I have found a fantastic resource with regard to tips and tricks for Dioramas. The guy is called The Terrain Tutor and he has a YouTube site. Most of the stuff he does is for table top gaming but I have picked up hundreds of tips a tricks from him. Regards Gary
  5. I use Marine grade M5 nuts. They don't rust at all and are very cheap off of fleabay
  6. Just a the painting stage with mine using Tamiya XF66 (light Grey) but I think its a little too light so may have to darken it up a bit. Gazza
  7. Hi I am following this with Interest as my Dad was an AQM on Dirty 30 during Aden and has fond memories of the Beverley. I want to build one for him for his 80th next year. Gazza
  8. Hi all, I'm Gary aka The Fat Fingered Modellist I came back to modelling 18 months ago after 30 years. I will have ago at any model except ships (I don't do rigging lol). I model to keep me occupied as due to 2 strokes I can no longer work and I find building models very therapeutic. It give s me the chance to use my brain and to problem solve. I am currently working on Revells 1/72 A400m Atlas and Tamiyas 1974 SAS jeep. when these are complete my next project will be Great Wall obbies 1/72 F15 complete with PE. Cheers Gary The Fat Fingered Modellist
