I'm looking for something to replace the machine gun barells on 1/48 aircraft. I'm basically looking for some very fine hollow tube to to tart them up rather than use the ones that come with the kit. Does anyone know where to get such a thing? What does everyone else use? Thanks, Brian.

Would I be best to mask off the area either side of the gap to avoid getting it all over the wings or is quite user friendly?

I'm currently building the 1/48 Hobby Boss Early Wildcat. I've just glued the upper and lower wings together and there are some small gaps at different places all around the wings. What is the best way to fill these gaps while keeping sanding/scribing to a minimum as I'm not very experienced? Thanks, Brian.

I just bought a Grex XG from Aerart and I'm over the moon with it. Gravity fed double action brush with 0.3 needle and it sprays beautifully. Comes in very nice case with very detailed instructions. Easy to clean too. Currently for sale at £79.99 as part of the January offer. Gordon at Aerart was very helpful and it arrived the day after ordering. Very, very nice airbrush. Brian.

Well the descision is made. Just ordered a Grex XG, spare needle and airbrush cleaner from Aerart. It's already in the post and Gordon was very helpful about connections etc. Thanks very much denstore.

I bought the cheap airbrush and compressor setup from airbrush-pro.co.uk and I'm looking to upgrade the airbrush but not the compressor. Was thinking about getting a Grex XG and just wondered if I would need to buy different connectors and hoses to be compatible with this compressor? The compressor is fitted with a 1/8 BSP screw thread connection. Is this the same connection as on a Grex? Also anyone with a Grex, how are you liking it? Thanks in advance, Brian.

Saw this, Revell 1/48 P-47 Limited Edition and wondered if anyone had built it and could offer any info on what its like. i.e how's the fit etc Not a bad price after you add the £4 postage. Brian.

Just brush painted my model with a coat of Klear straight from the bottle and it has now come up like the surface of the moon. The surface has gone from smooth to incredibly gritty. What to do? Brian.

Hello all. I'm currently building the Revell 1/72 P-47 Thunderbolt, This one. I now have a problem. The engine cowling will not fit over the engine once it's in place. Has anyone else built this kit and had similar problems? Any help much appreciated.
