  1. Awesome job my friend, the Honduran Corsair was the reason my dad joined the Honduran airforce in 1973. He retired in 2004 having flown during our golden age of aviation, he unfortunately did not get the opportunity to fly the Corsair, but it remains one of the most beloved aircraft he was able to see fly in Honduras. He later on flew almost if not all jet types Honduras ever operated during his long career as a fighter pilot. Very beautiful work definitely would love it in my FAH collection!
  2. The original French ejection seat looks very detailed, and expertly done! Waiting with so much anticipation to see them in their full glory. Greetings from Honduras!
  3. I'm very excited to see the end result on these beauties!
  4. Always happy to see a Super Mystere build, my father flew the Sa'ar in the Honduran airforce from 1978-1993. It was the most beloved jet he flew during his career! Pardon me for asking so directly, but is this model for your personal collection or would you ever consider selling it? I collect models but lack the talent to build one, unfortunately. Warmest regards, Alex Sosa
  5. Looking great! Very faithful to the real thing. I have been following this thread with my father, we are both loving it!
  6. Hi Reini, very cool your doing a Honduran CL-14MK4. My father flew them back in 1976 through 1978. Back then he was flying all 3 major types of jets the Honduran airforce had at the time which were the Sabres, A-37's and the Super Mystere. I might have some images that could aid you on you build. Send me an email if possible. [email protected] I'll help in any way I can!
  7. I do have a several images of my dad's time in service between 1974-2004. I'll be more than happy to share anything I have that could aid you in any future Honduran airforce projects you'd like to tackle in the future. Main reason my dad got in was to fly the Honduran Corsair, but never got the chance to fly a warbird unfortunately but he did fly several types such as CL-13 Mk4, A-37B, EMB 312 Tucano, C-101 Aviojet, Super Mystere, F-5E/F Tiger II. I'm not a model maker but I want to build up a collection strictly only from the Honduran airforce, so let me know if you'd sell you P-38 please! My email is [email protected] so I can share the images with you.
  8. Libor, beautiful work! I always love seeing the Super Mystere in all colors it served under. My father had the opportunity to fly and be an SMB2 instructior for the Honduran airforce. He flew the Mystere from 1978-1993 and was his most favorite combat aircraft to fly! Pardon me for being so direct in this question, but would you ever consider selling this model?
  9. Very nice Honduran P-38, we only had a total of 5 of them. P-38's served along side our P-63 during the 1950's. My dad served in the Honduran airforce, but sadly did not fly these warbirds. Would you ever consider selling it?
  10. Once again Martin never ceases to astound me, this project has been on his table for some time and it was certainly worth the wait. Its always pleasant to see that talented modellers from around the world take their time in recreating a machine that my father flew for well over 17 years. As soon as i got the email from Martin I showed the images to my dad Cnel. (r) Francisco Edgardo Sosa Mass and two very close family friends whom flew alongside my dad in the Super Mystere ever since it arrived in Honduras in 1976. My father just took a deep breath through his nostrils as soon as he saw the Jet, and immediately was taken back to his active years of service. My father praises the work, attention to detail and the thought that went into this project. The Super Mystere was without doubt an impressive machine and my father and all FAH pilots crossed in pairs literally every day the Nicaraguan border in their Mysteres from 1981-1985 patrolling the coast for the supposed shipment of Mig 21 Fishbed that were going to come from Cuba. My father along with Maj. Lopez Andino during Operacion Danto performed the only two logged kills downing an MI 24 Hind, and an MIL MI 8 using cannon rounds and 1 Shafrir Missile. Once again Martin on behalf of me and my father thank you very much for such beautiful work and keep it up my friend!
  11. I was admiring your Super Mystere from the Israeli air force and it is just wow! I have a question and my father served in the Honduran air force and he flew the Super Mystere for well over 17 years. Do you by any chance take requests and build models for sale? If so please let me know im highly interested.

  12. That would be the FAH 2016, it was the last Super Mystere that was airworthy for a short time before it was completely retired back in 1998. Currently its only in static display in the main entrance of the Base (Hector Caraccioli Moncada) and the airbase commander did place my fathers name on this particular Mystere (Cnel. (r) Francisco Edgardo Sosa Mass) Very nice find, brings back some fantastic memories.
