  1. And now, sanding, Sanded styrene wing root strakes , sealed with supreglue, polished, and primed with ALCLAD Microfiller,
  2. Let's gluing, And there is a problem, wing root strake plug ( triangular part), does not fit for ML version ( kit is MLD), its too small, To correct this, styrene sheets parts used,
  3. Ejection seat KM-1 ( Ne-Omega) , removed from casting block, Cockpit detailing, OOB mostly,
  4. Some parts cleaning and dry fitting , Lead weight glued in radome cone, and sealed with white glue,
  5. I think that Lift Here decal sheets 1/72 (E-72LH) and 1/48 (C-48LH) for Yugoslav MIG's, including this Mig 23 ML are long time out of stock, but possibly could be find at LindenHill decals or at EBAY. I have just this small sheet for some Mig 21's, and YU AF roundells and state flag fits the Mig 23 markings and paint scheme.
  6. Despite this Mig 23 ML carries Yugoslav AF markings , its in fact one of 8 Iraqi Mig 23 ML's undergoing service and upgrade in ZMAJ-Zagreb(Croatia) overhauling facility, in late 1980s. They had YAF markings during test flights and ferry flight from Zagreb to Belgrade only. They were never used in YAF, and were grounded. Due the Gulf war , and later the Balkan's conflicts, overhauling was never completed and 8 Mig 23s together with 9 MiG-21bis with RSBN-5S system were stored, some complete, at open storage, some crated. Mig 23ML are 23-19 variant. It's rare modification of 23 for middle east countries with airframe of MiG-23ML and some MiG-23MLD's avionics. Photos courtesy of Mr. Milan Micevski,
  7. Just started this Zvezda 1/72 Mig 23, as a quick build for a IPMS Serbia-Overseas Section SMW 2013. display. Hope will finish it , pack it and mail it on time to be seen at SMW. Well, that's the Zvezda pack, with some extra decals and Ne-Omega KM-1 resin ejection seat.
  8. Hi Jabba, Could not confirm yet will i personally attend SMW, ( work on this, currently) but certainly could arrange pick up during the SMW.
  9. 1/72 Soko Orao's , autumn 2013. 10. Well, better late than never, Gnat F Mk I / Hal AAJET is finally released, new tools, new decals, for RAF/Ministry of supply Gnat and IAF Hal AJEET.
  11. Having no 100 post yet, and could not post commercial topics and will stay with kits release info only. Aeropoxy 1/48 scale Gnat is currently out of stock, if you consider direct order from Serbia, and is being under retooling process and will be released in april, 2013, with new decal sheet printed by LiftHere, covering one RAF ( Ministry of supply) and one India AF AJEET. If you are worried about ordering from Serbia, you can always buy via Aeropoxy EBAY store, which will give you more comfort and security, for a little higher price. Or try with Aviation Megastore shop . Regarding taxes, kits mailed directly from Serbia are packed and mailed as "registered letter parcel" and usually does not apply for any extra taxes. Happy modelling, Supercuber
  12. Hi, You could chose from few Ministry of supply (RAF markings) Gnat's, serialed FL-2 GNAT F Mk.1 XK724 FL-3 GNAT F Mk.1 XK739 FL-4 GNAT F Mk.1 XK740 FL-5 GNAT F Mk.1 XK741 FL-6 GNAT F Mk.1 XK767 FL-7 GNAT F Mk.1 XK768 FL-18 GNAT F Mk.1 XN122 FL-34 GNAT F Mk.1 XN326 My favorite, XN326 later became F.A.F. GN-113
  13. Milliput will add some weight, but nothing substantially in 1/72 scale. Your idea with styrene sheet is also OK, will work with this WW I cambered airfoil.
  14. If this is Phoenix kit, You should try to fill the wing undersurfaces with Milliput and sand it to DH-1 airfoil, something like RAF airfoil cut out,
  15. And finished Tupolev, More pics on Ready for inspection
  16. Finished Tupolev TU-134A3 1/200 resin kit by AEROPOXY, still with wet Humbrol gloss coat on it. W.I.P. here: http://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=234929484&hl=
  17. Dayglo orange wingtips airbrushed, Time for decaling, Lift Here decals , nicely printed, And decaling progress,
  18. Well, day or two, becomes month or two... Its time to finish this build, so, lets mask this Tupolev, And some airbrushing, i prefer Revell 99 aluminium for metal finish on small models, And now, waiting , and watching the paint dry . More will follow soon , RGDS Supercuber
  19. More metalwork done, tailplane filed down, one side is 1,5mm thicker... Wing skin and wing tips glued (epoxy).
  20. Wing skin are 0,35mm aluminium foil, (offset printing foil). Bluish tone is from some kind of photo sensitive paint or primer paint. Heavy metal modeling, ,fuselage ribs and stringers epoxy-glued , then aft fuselage glued to the framework. Aluminium wing skin, epoxied too.
  21. I think its pewter, or printing lead alloy , centrifugal cast , Even the wing ribs and fuselage frames are from same alloy.
  22. Great work Cliff. Looks way better than one i build , here. Keep on good work, and Happy new , modelling 2013. Nenad/Supercuber
