I think there are a couple that are really nicely pulled off. But I do agree that many of them are just.. eh. I understand what they are trying to do but I think there are times when they missed an opportunity to update the designs to fit the modern aircraft and still keep the vintage spirit. I would love to see if somebody could pull off the paint scheme for the P-51 “big beautiful doll” into an F-16 or F-15.

Hopefully the USAF will repaint this in the correct colors lol!

Not sure, according to the articles it was a recent paint job. It’s the A10 demo team. I think it’s the same bird they had painted in the World War II commemorative schemes.
