  1. Dude, you're right >< there, giter...*ack!*...overused term. Just wrap it up!
  2. Your definition actually does make sense, Ross. But in aeronautical terms, instruments are covered by a 'bezel', and instrument panels are covered, as was mentioned, by a coaming, or cover.
  3. Yes, the area behind the cockpit is also black. Into the canopy hinge area, and towards the back, wjhere the rear canopy is. Binnacle? Is that brit for instrument panel?
  4. There are no words. I'm just going to enjoy the pics!
  5. Yes yes! I'm diggin it. I'm still gonna do the top one with the last scheme they carried. As for refs, I'm sure you've already been here: http://a4alley.t35.com/A4-Alley/index.html
  6. Start with your favourite, standard olivae drab. MM is what I chose. Paint, and weather it to how you like it. That's really the short answer. There's no 'correct' color per se. Just follow your references.
  7. I did this one a couple years ago. It is in fact the Hasegawa kit, and it's a delight to build.
  8. That photo above kicks bottom! Hase Scooters are downright loveable!
  9. Damn! I'm late to the party, but I'm gobsmacked! Keep it up!
  10. There's plenty of non-brit subjects on here Keep it up!
  11. Hooooooly testicle tuesday! Damn fine!
  12. Uh oh....this is gonna be GOOD! I can already tell. I enjoy your builds Periklis!
  13. You have a Phantom with checkers all over it in your sig, and you call that gaudy??!!?? Heh, anyway, I couldn't resist, and drew up a profile, post when I'm done. I think it looks fantastic!
  14. Dirty! I like! Pics are bit fuzzy though.
  15. Oh man, I'd just have left it be. Dullcoating would have minimized the ridge. I think dullcoat is the great equalizer. but the aforementioned plan of action is what I'd go with at this point.
  16. AHA! SO THIS is where you put it! Good jobbe!
  17. Are you looking for any in particular, Ross? I have that sheet and used it once for one of the Aggressors, but not the king jet.
  18. The Block 20 did indeed fly after the F-16C, in fact the first Block 20 serial is 93-0702. So that's around the same time the MLU program started. I'd have to do some more searching of serials to see when the first MLU flew.
  19. I didn't think much of the box cockpit, but you made it look damn good!
  20. I guess it comes down to semantics. I've heard it referred to both ways. It may not be called it, but an MLU is Block 20 standard. At any rate, an MLU may be in my future....
