Many thanks everyone. PhoenixII, where are you ? I'm originally from just outside Bridlington so your neck of the woods was our old stamping ground for sunday bike runs. Brought family out for holiday last June, 1st time since '95, their1st time and still awesome. Wife fell in love with the place (especially Morrisons supermarket. Great to be back in proper pubs with proper beer as well !

Just returning to modelling after a long lay off so not sure what is available nowadays, hopefully someone can point me in right direction ? My daughter wants me to help her build a 2nd world war diorama featuring French fighters so was thinking of doing something with resistance fighters. Is there anything available in civilian figures that could be adapted with weapons etc ? I'm assuming there's nothing available 'out of the box' ?

Hi everyone, Thanks to my daughter, I'm getting back into modelling after a bit of a break. Something around 45 years !! Used to do lots of Airfix aircraft with my 2 cousins. I'm in Wellington but originally from Yorkshire, been out here for 20+ years. As well as the modelling I 'm also into classic cars so will be looking to this for inspiration, also steam engines, vintage machinery and classic motorbikes.
