So I know that Master Airbrushes are known for their low quality and cheap price. However, the Master Airbrush G233, which comes with three sizes of needles, has gotten pretty decent reviews on Amazon and was wondering if anyone else had any insight into whether or not it's a usable product. I feel like I've already spent a lot of money on my model-making hobby and don't think I can spend more than $60 on a new airbrush. I have also been looking at the Paasche TG-2L but it's a bit pricey and hasn't gotten the greatest reviews. Any help or suggestions would be great.

I am finishing up my Tamiya F-14D Tomcat and plan on adding the decals soon. I understand that I should apply a gloss clear coat before applying decals. Should I apply the gloss coat to only the areas where decals will be placed? Or to maintain a consistent look, should I coat the entire plane in gloss clear?

Thank you so much for the in depth explanation. I went with the Zoukei-Mura mostly because of the detail and they are one of the only ones with a Marine variant.

I really want to build an F-4J Phantom II for my next model, but have seen a few different companies that make it. Was wondering which one had the best detail and highest quality. Hasegawa, Zukei-Mura, Tamiya, or Revell?

I'm a little new to modelling and was wondering if you guys had advice on applying Flat Clear Tamiya Paint. I have finished all of the body paint for my F-14D and was wondering when I should apply the Flat Clear. Before or after the decals are put on? And before or after the panel line coloring/weathering has been put on? Should I also expect the Flat Clear to make my model more resistant to scratching and wear?

Can you mix gloss black and flat black acrylic paints to get a semi-gloss black? Or will this ruin the paint?

I am about to buy the Tamiya F-14D Tomcat and I want to paint it according to the VF-101 "Grim Reapers" variant. I am not sure exactly what paints to buy from Tamiya. Any help would be appreciated.
