  1. Wow! What a big, beautiful Cat! That's a fantastic scale model, and I'm delighted that you've decided to save her. Much too nice and so much incredible work went into it! Bravo indeed.
  2. Both are very nice! 🍻 And the rigging looks great too! I've thought about a Bristol F2B as a Mexican Airforce bird from the 1920s. Thanks for sharing your cool models with us! 😀
  3. Very nice Zipper! Has any aircraft ever looked more the part of a Star-fighter than the F-104, the "missile with a man in it"? It would look right at home streaking towards the Death Star. 😉 Great job on a truly iconic bird! 😀
  4. That is some mighty impressive work sir! Congratulations on a beautiful scale model. Take a bow for sure, you've earned it!
  5. That's a great looking model Glyn! 😀 You've got a fantastic NMF on her and I love the Japanese scheme. Very well done for sure!
  6. That is a handsome piece of scale-modeling work Steve! I agree, the cockpit looks superb! 😃
  7. Fantastic T-Bolt Huey! That is some great work, and I agree with the comments about that cockpit! Wow, so nice. 😃
  8. Beauty mate, love the paintwork; and take a bow for that nose job! 🍺 She's a cracker Mick!
  9. Another beauty John! Please keep 'em coming dude! 😀
  10. John, that's a beauty mate! 😀 Great looking La-7 sir!
  11. Oh, that looks great Tojo! Beautiful Fighting Falcon you have there!
  12. Wow! That is really great! A real beauty of a scale model.
  13. That is a great looking Dora Stu! You've done an excellent job on that model, please take a bow sir!
  14. It's a beautiful aircraft and a beautiful model as well! 😀 Great job sir! I really don't know much of the history of the Swift but I'm inspired to learn more. Is there a 1/48 version available anywhere? Thanks for any info!
  15. Man, I love those birds and you've done a fantastic job on yours! Bravo! That's a great looking model plane sir!
  16. Very nice indeed Ron! 🥃 You did a great job on your Bearcat! I've always liked those planes, and think it has been somewhat forgotten. I had the good fortune to see one up close and personal at an air show in Waco, Texas, back in the late 1980s. I'm sure I have some 35mm prints of it somewhere. It's a shame their career was no longer than it was.
  17. I really like the plans you're making Andy; that is going to produce some great photos, just wait and see! Yes, Quince Brown did meet a sad end after great service; I'm glad you looked him up! As for my next model; well, I have a Meteor Prototype Number One almost done since late last year, just awaiting some decals. I'm currently working on a Grumman F7F Tigercat and I guess I'm about half done with her. 😀 My last build was shown here earlier this summer. 18. I'd like to thank those who left recent "likes" for Okie. 😀 I do appreciate the support and encouragement mates! 🍻
  19. Oh man, that is so nice! 🥃 That is a fantastic Mustang sir, extremely well done for sure!
  20. Yes sir, she is a real oldie. 😃 The Scalemates timeline for this kit goes back to '43. I just wonder if some changes must've been made over the years. Thank you SAT69 for the great compliments! 🥃 I was pretty proud of her way back when the model was built. Oh, it didn't come close to Dr. Budzik's 1/32 version but it was a good finish for me. As for the photography, hey, even a blind hog finds an acorn now and then. Thanks from this ol' "blind hog"!😃
  21. Thank you so much for the kind words Andy! 🍻 I'm glad you liked that ol' bird. It does sound like you have some cool plans in the works. 👍 Natural light and a "natural" setting does make for some nice photos. I'm quite fortunate that I can utilize our municipal airport for photo shoots.
