OK everyone The Tornado GB Forum Is ready. we will open the Forum on 1200 am on Nov 21st. So cruise on down to the Group Build forum and take a look on what we have ready. it is only for viewing no posts can be made till the 21st of NOV also there is a Bannerr section so banner makers post some banners if you wish when we start also some of use can make bannerrs as well with info provided by you. Ladies and Gentelmen welcome to the long awaited Panavia Tornado Group Build here on Britmodeller. Armadillios,Spike7451 and I along with the Admins want to welcome you to this Group Build of such a great aircraft. Lets Get Started what do you say!!!!!!! Timeframe: The GB will Run from November 21st,2008 to March 21st,2009 Rules and Guidelines: This GB is for the Panavia Tornado Aircraft and in any version of the A/C that was produced and of all contries who currently or have flown the Tornado, the time frame is from Production till Nowadays and can include units that have disbanded as well. Kits cannot be more than 25% completed at time of start, any kit and any aftermarket goodies are ok for this Group Build. What if's will be discussed by the mods. But in the spirt of this GB we would like to see actual A/C represented. Your kits may also be displayed in any way. Questions: If you have a ? to anything feel free to ask a mod at anytime! Raffle Prizes: Are genorously being donated by the Mike's from Two Mikes resin. We will be having a Raffle Prize Drawing at the end of the Group Build Participants must complete at least one entry for the GB and post in the Finished Entries(The Flight Line) thread, to be eligible no later than 11:59 PM PST on MAR 21, 09 , if multiple models are completed your name will only be enterd once for the Raffle Draw. the winners will be Posted on the forum when the draw is complete. OK everyone Scan your stash for those Tornados you want to build for this GB, enjoy your builds, share some stories with each other and Most of Lets have some fun.!

Update for everyone. We have the start date as you all know of NOv21'st, Armadillios and I are drawing up the GB forum and will have sent to the Mods. We have a sponsor/donator of a couple raffle Prizes thanks to Two Mike's Resin. so give us a little bit and we'll get the forum up. Also if there are any Tornado Guru's or Actual Personell that have worked on the Tornado would like to jump on board as a GB Mod let us Know. I am a F-15 Eagle crew Chief and know nothing of the Tornado. so you are glady welcomed but I must say we can only take 2 persons for this as the max for GB mods is 4. thanks all. talk to you soon. Nev I was thinking the same hoping every squadron will get represented. I have 2 f3 and a GR4 to do but will probably only get to one and maybe start the other cause i am doing a F/A-18E for Promodellr GB and a F-15 for the IAF gb on arc.

SO for the ECR it has no Gun So I have to make one on the kit.??

Cool thanks for the starter help. I have all the Paragon stuff for the F3. and I have the Flightpath GR4 Kit for the Italeri IDS or the RoG ECR I have. the ECR kit looks better than the Italeri IDS kit I don't see many differences to a GR4. So i think I will use the ECR kit to build the GR4. Ill chirp back in here with some more F3 ?'s and will be waiting for others to chime in.

Hey all i just picked up 3 Italeri F3's, Man i paid alot though, how is it compared to the Airfix F3/EF3 i have one of those coming, also i got a 1/48 revell of Germany ECR, can that build an accurrate GR4 versus the Italeri IDS i have the flightpath kit. thanks in advance.

For all those who are waiting for some info on the Tornado build, I am still waiting for an announcement from mike, he pm'd me over a week ago about an announcement, in a couple days but i have seen nothing so we are in the holding pattern.

Id get just get a regular hasegawa c model kit, for half the price??
