Hi all I just got this, its the Hobby Engine 1/16 Leopard 2A6 MBT and its radio control. I must say I have never had any interest in rc tanks until I saw this one. I've started to fix some of the bits that are missing and given her a repaint as the original paint was not quite the right shade. anyhow here she is in the state where I'm at now. Cheers all Clive

Hi Michael they were advertised in a mag I think but I couldn't find them on the Airfix web site, so I googled them and it took me to the place on Airfix's web site page. When I rang them they told me there was only five left and that was last Thursday try giving them a call you never know. Clive

Hi all I don't suppose there's anyone out there that owns a Trumpeter 1/32 Growler, if so could I possibly have the spare rear dash and shroud parts P9 & P10 as I'm making an F-18F with the new ACS suite in the rear. Or if you could resin copy them all the better, I would be most greatful of your help. Cheers all Clive

Hi there this is a nice kit I have one of these and I never paid that silly price for it, if memory serves I think I paid £50 at a local air fare still its a superb kit and I just need to think of a nice colour scheme for her. Clive -
Cheers Troy Clive

Hi all does any of you own a Lonestar 1/48 resin cockpit set for the 1/48 Monogram B-26 Marauder, if so can you possibly send me a copy of the instructions as I got the resin cockpit in a kit today but it has no instructions within. Thanks Clive

Or you could try the aviation bookshop in Tunbridge Wells as they stock his books. Clive

Hi all I just received this this morning and well I couldn't get over the size of the box, I thought that the model was a 1/48 kit. Now wouldn't it be nice if they actually did do this set in 1/48 as they are superb. Clive

Hi all why is there no F/A-18F Super Hornet resin cockpits available for the Trumpeter 1/32 kits? and if there is where are they as I have one of these big birds and I'm in need of an up to date pit for the VFA-103 CAG bird. Clive

Hi all its not been the best of years for me, my daughter became very ill earlier in the year it was a bit touch and go at the time she's ok now, and then I lost my beloved car due to a pot hole bloody things. Then came a piece of really great news my lovely wife to be told me I was going to be a dad again yippee! but later in the year came some really bad news I lost my job due to redundancy in November well I've had a great xmas the first xmas in twelve years where I've not had to work woo hoo!. So on a plus side I have also managed to finish these models finished so without further ado here they are. Bring it on 2014 HAPPY NEW YEAR ALL! Clive

Cheers Dave she's a great kit I have both the Trumpy kits, still here's where I'm upto at the end of today. Just the paint to seal then its time for some decaling. Clive

Cheers for this info I must say its very interesting to find a little bit of history about the bird I'm making thank you. As for the decals I was reffering to the Eagle Strike Production 1/48 set for the same unit. Here's a picture showing what I mean. In the small print it tells you about the colour and a little about the plane itself, the Berna decals don't tell you much at all on the other hand they don't even give you the fuselage colour just the coloured parts to the plane and the black areas. This is why I needed to find out what the overall colour is and a few pointers to detail like the wing tanks the ones on it are US tanks and were used in combat but they are not the ones used by the French which is a shame as I would of liked her to look the part with the rite pieces attatched. Anyway thanks for all your kind help its much appperciated and I wish you all a Happy and safe new 2014 thanks again. Clive

Yeah I've noticed that but the kit only gives you what I've placed on the model, I've also looked through that web site and its pretty informative I must say but you have to dig deeper as it doesn't tell you everything that's why I'm questioning the decal sheet info where did they get their info from I will find out but the tanks are stuck on now so I guess they'll stay put shame. Cheers Wez Clive

Hi all this is my 1/32 Trumpy Skyraider, its been a while since I last picked her up and now I have the A-1H as well I thought I'd better get her finished. I'm thankful for all the help I've had to date and hope to get her completed in the coming weeks ahead. here she is. This part is still being worked on. Thanks for stopping by happy new year everyone. Clive

Antoine hi I am making an AD-4 Skyraider 21-LW 123846 EC1/21 Dijbouti - 1963 from the Berna Decals sheet. Its the model that has no rear compartment door one of the very early birds according to the decal sheet. I need to know what aerials there were on it and where they were placed, also if the aircraft was a silver one or if it was an all over gull grey like the decals suggest. I am most greateful for any help including the help I've had so far thank you all and have a happy new and safe year 2014. Cheers Clive

Giorgio hi thanks very much for that info, I've just purchased the mag so I'm looking forward to viewing its content. Clive

Cheers Rick I'm guessing the same, I kind of get the idea the French got them in the US Navy colours then repainted them in silver or the like. Cheers Clive

Hi all hope you have all had a great xmas and are looking forward to a great 2014. I have a skyraider kit its the trumpy 1/32 job and I'm making it into a French one but I'm stuck on the overall colour of the airframe, are they gull grey or are they silver and not bare metal finish. I have read they started life as gull grey ships then the only real one I've seen was at Duxford and it was a silver job can you help and prove what colour they are were. Thanks Clive
