  1. This is an awesome build did you get it finished in the end, lovely painting especially by hand brush. Clive
  2. Hi all this is my 1/32 Revell Lynx and I'm converting her to a British Army Lynx AH7. With the help of a couple of good fellows on here I'm hoping to make a reasonable job of her. Any how here are a couple of pic's of her on the bench. More to come soon as I get it done. Thanks for stopping by. Clive
  3. Hi Tony thanks for helping me out I'm going to need it, I have two of the German Naval Revel Lynx's and want one to be an AH7 Lynx and the other a German Marine bird from the box, are these the correct kits I need for converting to an AH7?. I managed to get a book on the Lynx but its of not great quality so I've put it back on the shelf for now but may use it at some point in the future. Kind regards Clive Thanks again for the kind offer of your help
  4. Cheers Colin is he the main chap to deal with on this subject. Clive
  5. Hi all can anyone tell me if there is a conversion set that converts the Revell Lynx kit into an British Mk7 Lynx used by the AAC, if so can anyone help as I would love to get one of my Lynx's done as a British Army Lynx. Clive
  6. Looks good Tom, is the upper surface green and brown or sand and brown? Clive
  7. Hi all thanks for the interest I took the opportunity of the current bun showing this morning so here's a few more shots not the best but its with the iphone. The camo was done freehand I have never use masks they come as a waste of money to me but no doubt when the old age sets in and I start to wobble then I might consider them. All in all she was a great kit to build the only flaw I had was a badly formed nose gear leg to which I'm very thankful to Ian Price for the kind replacement thank you sir. See you next time cheers. Clive
  8. ''Cripes'' it looks like you did ''a Mighty'' fine job on that ''3rd'' plane be it the P-51 Mustang. Great job mate looks very sweet indeed. Clive
  9. Hi all Inspired by Ian Price's Harrier GR3 I thought I'd better create mine so with no further ado here she is. Cheers guys. Clive
  10. Now that is very nice my friend a superb job and looks the part. Clive
  11. wooo look at this your actually doing some modelling lol it must be that house your in its finally got to you well done mate but I won't be able to get you any pic's if it comes to LGW this time round. Nice one mate good to see you back in the circuit. Clive
  12. You have the same ref book as me so don't make the black stripes even as they were hand painted but you know that already its a nice job your making of a nice plane I will be using the big 1/24 Airfix kit to do the last cripes a mighty P-51D when I get around to it, looking good fella keep going. What do you have in mind for the next build then ? Clive
  13. Hi I managed to put the met blue on the fuel tank a week ago then when I was starting to decal the tank there was not only a problem with the decals but the paint on the tank reacted with the decal softner. So I striped the tank of paint and then found a crack in the tank that lead to a piece breaking off and so I had to fix it. Well here it is in its primer state I zinc coated it yesterday then primed it this morning now this time I'm going to put the met blue on then klear coat it for protection and with a bit of luck I won't have any issues, I've also managed to buy another set of decals for it from Italeri but I'm not happy as the decal problem is down to the makers of the decals not me but hey ho I have them now so I can now crack on with the build. Cats hair will be removed before painting commences more soon TTFN. Clive
  14. Hi I'm liking this but you seem to have blue overspray on the prop blades why did you not mask them up? As for the Alclad issue well it does lift off so to combat this I use Johnson Klear to seal the paint then you get no issues with it lifting off the model whilst masking. Clive
  15. Hi all I started this bike last year and to bring it up to date I've had to buy another set of decals from Italeri as the originals were not releasing from the backing paper. Well I'm still in the process of building her so here goes. The kit itself. Some parts laid on the bench for assembly. The fairing which is awaiting the gloss colour to be applied, I'm using Humbrol gloss met blue on this one. Rite so far I've done this all sprayed up and ready for the spaghetti. Front forks to be finished off after some mods are finished. And lastly I put a valve in both wheels but here is the rear wheel to show. Thanks for looking in more to come soon. Cheers Clive
  16. Very nice indeed I've been looking in on your build and its inspired me to finish mine, can you tell me if you had to weight the nose as it looks to be a tail sitter. I have a gun nose version and have spent the last four years on and off the thing but she's close to being finished sometime this year I hope well maybe this year Nice job anyhow Clive
  17. Hi there anymore progress on this marvellous project. Clive
  18. Hi chaps thanks for your interest and kind words, now a tank wouldn't be a tank if it weren't for muddy puddles! I suppose you could say its the Peppa pig of the vehicle world in other words they love muddy puddles . Well not quite finished but nearing the line enjoy the muddy pig Clive
  19. Hi there thanks for your interest, I've now done a bit more on her and so here's the pic's. This is the tank sporting its new antennas and light. g.html'>[/url] This is the rear looking camera and aerial. The aerials and camera were scratch built and there's a few more bits n bobs to do including the cargo bins they will be the one thing that I will have to spend a bit of time on as I can't afford the after market ones. Cheers Clive and thanks for your interest.
