  1. Looking forward to watching this. I never knew that the Austrians had these, might have to get the old SMER kit and have a bash myself! Martin
  2. Great work as usual! I love watching your builds. Its a shame you got stuck with HMS Lion. Martin
  3. Right! For what its worth I think you have done a fine job on the Hampden so far. I have done an FM kit and can appreciate what you have gone through. I suspect that the longer you put off doing the transpancies the more worried you will become about doing them and therefore the less likely you are to ever finish the model, which would be a great shame given the work that has gone into the project so far. My advice, therefore, is to bite the bullet now and crack on with it. Remember that people have successfully tackled this kit so we know it can be done and is does look great when completed. Martin
  4. That's a real cracker! Well done that man! Martin
  5. Now thats a really different and effective take on an old subject. I'm really taken with it. Martin
  6. Smart looking model you have there! Martin
  7. Nice build! So whats the Bride of Frankenstein going to be? Martin
  8. Nice work Bill! Its nice to see one of the early marks being built for a change. Martin
  9. Cheers Amos. PM inbound re Photobucket. Martin
  10. To answer the first question, the answer is yes but without the seats in place, shouldn't be too hard, its the way I usually do it and it allows me to show you guys how its been put together. To answer the second question; clearly I must be. I'm doing this thread arn't I? I fear where TSR2 and I are concerned all reason went out of the window about 35 years ago when I first learned of the aircraft and the story behind it. Martin von Raving Nutcase
  11. Looking forward to seeing how this one progresses! Martin
  12. Thanks Daz, your wish is my command! I spent most of yesterday working in the observer's cockpit. Its not quite finished but another session should see it wrapped up and me onto the pilot's cockpit. Its amazing how tiring trying to work in an area no larger than an inch square can be. Perhaps I'm just getting old. Thanks for looking Martin
  13. That looks better with the decals on. Even after 44 years in the hobby I never cease to be captivated with the decaling process and the transformation a model undergoes. I have a 1/48 scale kit of this type in the stash and your model is giving me itchy fingers. Martin
  14. Thats the dog's danglies and some! Wonderful build and model. Martin
  15. Thats a sweet little build. I remember my Gran buying me this kit to cheer me up at the end of the summer holidays (I loathed school with a passion) I felt really spoilt. Martin
  16. Yes, I will be taking her to Telford whatever state of completion she is in. She will be either on the Poole Vikings/IPMS Dorset stand or in the competition if finished. Martin
  17. Well she will be at Telford. Whether I can get her completed by then is another matter! Martin
  18. I don't really understand babies but sincere congratulations to you and Caz as clearly you guys do and it means everything to you. Martin PS:Should this really still be in the "Work in Progress" section until you have actually made a modeller of him?
