Well, I have managed to get some done on the intakes. Not as soon as I had hoped but the current domestic situation seems to be controlling me rather than the other way round.
It is important to ensure that the intake ductings flow smoothly, partyicularly so as they are white and will throw shadows where there are any imperfections. Accordingly the hatched area of the kit parts need to be carefully carved away and the depressions in the Camett replacement parts need filling. The intakes can then be glued together and the joins between the two parts made good with more Milliput. When this has set I will pass a Flexifile through the ducting to effect the mecessary clean up.
One small but strange tip; although we all know that Milliput can be smoothed out with water, saliva actually works much better! Tastes disgusting but, in my opinion it makes the putty muich easier to work. Are there no lengths I will not go to for this project?
Thanks for looking in
Martin
