  1. Nice work! I don't normally care much for the Phantom but even I am taken with that effort. Martin

  15. Loving seeing this come together, I think that after airframe structurs, engines are my favorite parts of the scratch building process. Martin
  16. Hopefully people will have forgiven my emotional outburst of earlier today but I did want to share things with you guys as I was really chuffed and it gave me a massive boost. However, as promised, I have cracked on and finished the panel that sits on the side of the instrment panel. This contains the pumps for the fuel system. I constructed the larger of the two pumps from some of my stock of Albion Alloys which I have left unpainted as the original seems to have been construsted from brass. The panel itself was cut from wood veneer and what appears to have been some leather padding was made from .025 'thou plastic rod. All this is now ready to be plumbed in when final assembly of the fuselage takes place/ I shall be getting the rudder peddals, throttles and the pilot's seat sorted next. Sorry that some of these bits seem to represent small progress but they can be quite fiddly to do and trake some time to complete. Thanks for looking Martin
  17. This looks like it is going to turn out very well indeed! Martin
