  1. That's one impressive top build. VERY nice!
  2. Thanks for these links! it seems indeed that only a few had camo colours; one pic showed only two out of sixteen machines having that scheme. Cheers, Luka
  3. Where do pilots go to have a drink? 🍺😜 Joking aside; great looking build! πŸ™‚πŸ‘
  4. Hello Britmodellers, As the title says, I have a question about Danish Thunderjets in camo, as I'd like to build one for an upcoming group build. The only images I managed to find were a few colour profiles and a decal instruction sheet. Not even a single photo. Does anyone have any reference material on camouflaged F-84s or was this practice limited to just a few odd machines? Thanks, Luka
  5. That's one tasty Skymaster! Now I really, REALLY wish they'd release one in 72..
  6. That reddish tint in the XF-52 looks just perfect for a Rhodesion machine. Tasty build!
  7. I entered this HobbyBoss Morane Saulnier 406C-1 in the FB Conflict100 Group Build. Porucznik (Lieutenant) Kazimierz Bursztyn flew this plane on May 13th 1940 from Moerbeke (BE) and was damaged somewhere near Etten-Leur (NL). Cheers, Luka
  8. Love the finish on this one, as well as the dio with the marsden mats. Great looking model!
  9. Although I can appreciate your honesty about the 'mistakes' you made with this kit, it does not take down the striking end result one bit. Beautiful model, love the shots with its brethren in arms too.
  10. Fantastic build! You turned Airfix's venerable esteemed mess into a real looker. Some time ago I toyed with the idea of upgrading this same kit. When I saw the work involved in your build thread that became a big "No, thanks" for me. I'm glad you persevered and show us this great result!
  11. Nice one! Love the subtle colour transitions. I have a Sword kit earmarked for exactly the same scheme. There seems to be some debate wether the Africa shape was green or orange. The green one looks very good!
  12. I believe this Very nicely done!πŸ‘
  13. Super impressive result! Looking forward to you sharing your weathering techniques. They look good!
  14. Thanks! And you're right; a quick search at scalemates says that sadly Kittyhawk's 1/32 kit of this plane was cancelled. Hopefully other scale model companies will pick up the subject in the future.
  15. Both beautiful Phantoms! Like the group shots too. Looking good!
  16. Nice one there! Especially love the shots with the dark clouds. Impressive work!
  17. Thanks all for the comments! Indeed, I got this one by sheer coincidence in the second-hand section of a small webstore. A re-release, or even better, a re-tooling of this kit would be nice. But with only a small amount of planes built and just a few years of service it's probably not popular enough for the big scale model companies..
  18. Yes, now I can see them. That's one well-weathered Saetta! Love the 'poached egg' camo too.
  19. This F11F was entered in the Artwork Group Build with the sharkmouth decoration. This model was more or less built OOB, with a full rescribe and some extra detail added. Cheers, Luka
  20. *Kenny Loggins intensifies* Nice 'cat! πŸ˜ΌπŸ‘
  21. Not only is this top notch modeling with a difference, but also excellent reference for 'regular' modelers. Great work!
