  1. That's a good question, Pat. I've read those two books in the past (I thought I had a copy of Scramble but can't now find it) and never thought about the gap. I have an idea that he was sent home sick from Malta and then went on to a training role. But I may well be thinking of someone else. The conditions on Malta took their toll on the Pilots. And of course everyone else there. World of books has one called Questions of guilt by him. And there is Gun button to fire but that is the Battle of Britain. I recently re-read First Light, and it is still an excellent read and hard to put down
  2. Serves you right for using Ex Luftwaffe Baedeker maps of the U.K. And staying in a Caravan Crocheted by Her ladyship. Cut price Holidays indeed! (Boyo).
  3. Keep taking the pills! The car is looking rather excellent. A great idea and execution.
  4. Don't worry, I've sacked my scriptwriter. I've got a nice sounding chap from Belgium to interview tomorrow....
  5. How does he smell? (Go on, get it over with)
  6. We've had enough of those in Lincolnshire in the last few months thank you. I hear that Skegness has been washed out to sea. (not a bad thing really). I've not been looking at your medical records, but I have to say that you have a lovely interior. More ribs than a Chinese takeaway. It's a shame this kit doesn't have one half of the hull in clear plastic. Hey! There's an idea for plunge moulding! (OOER!)
  7. They had me hooked at illuminated tread plates! Ooh! Where's my cheque book? 😜
  8. Well it worked on my phone. So the problem must have been the laptop. Thanks @Greg B & @Julien
  9. Huge and very impressive. I hope you've found room to display it!
  10. I was wondering how you were both getting on. Good to hear from you. Yes, caring can be a full time job. And I know that it can really be a strain, physically and mentally on you both. Take your time, we and the plastic can wait. I hope you've found a little time to yourself and not forgotten the paying job on the Railway stuff. Best wishes, Pete
  11. Hey, Jim. Looks like you found a box of spare parts you'd forgotten about. I like it! I've never even thought of using those glue containers, so well done for inventiveness. A great looking walker and very different from your usual figures. Are you coming over to the dark side of mecha?
  12. As Jim says, excellent. It's great to see more krieger here too. I've never seen this colour used on a suit before. It looks good. And the details, the broken hose, damaged paint etc... The rusty oil barrel and tool box. An overall great thing.
