A nice set, Mike. There are one or two things that you probably wouldn't see until the mid to late fifties but otherwise it would make a nice display.

Staring at walls is a peaceful pastime. Talking to them, however, is rather questionable. And could lead to expensive therapy which will hurt the wallet.
Although, less spare dosh means a smaller stash which means less choice of build victims and easier decisions. Hmm, we could have something here....

Little Bo Peep lied for the insurance money!
What sort of name was that anyway?
Does it mean that there was a Big Bo Peep? Nursery rhymes eh? Tsk!

closeup pics that will be greatly appreciated and maybe you can post these in the walkaround section.
@Kincora passed pictures to me a couple of weeks ago and I forwarded them to @Julien for the walk around section He can only send pics by email as the internet out in the wilds is rubbish.

Information missing from the above quote is the fact that the 'old jalopy is in fact Monty's old Desert caravan/truck which he 'found' in a Military museum and has had on loan since the Korean war when Captain Darling fudged the loan chit paperwork . It's not very fast and is often blamed for the slow traffic on the Lincoln bypass and the road out to Skeggy where Baldrick uses it for selling his 'savoury' ice creams. I'm told the roast beef & Yorkshire pud flavour is indescribable.

Have you got or can you get a radiator grille to fit on the front? Make a card bonnet to fit and maybe even add a side pipe to suggest a bigger engine. You may as well go all out!
Wider wheels too perhaps?

That's some serious looking lifting gear!

That looks like about enough chips (I ordered the fish as well!?) So on with the grime. (And salt and vinegar please).
I didn't know that Possums could climb. An educational thread, nice.

Nicely done and, like the others, looking close to what was pictured inside my head.
I have a plan to read the whole lot of Discworld books again. They're sitting on the shelf ready and waiting.*
* All except that last one about the steam trains. It was awful!

That light gives it a moody effect. It looks fabulous. As for the bed. It's awful and I love it. Well used and showing it.

The Hunter was a lovely Aircraft and so is your model.

I think that it spoils the look of the whole model.
I wouldn't worry about it, John. It looks good to me in the pictures. In fact both of them do. As @Drakendk says above, the finish is beautiful.

Both versions look very nice. It's always good to see a recycled model though. I think they test your skills more than one built out of the box.

Likewise fond felicitations to yourself. How's retirement treating ye?
Thank you, kind Sir. Retirement? Highly recommended. So far, finding things to do hasn't become a chore 😜 Model production has moved up a gear or two. Bonus!

I hope the Hospital got you sorted out and your eye is back to normal. And that you are still happy with your decision to quit.

Or swap it for a better brew from @Pete in Lincs.
Not me Boss. I gave up the evil of working for a living and retired at the end of September.
There is beer in the beer fridge though. Just in case we get some decent sunshine here this year.
And, the beer fridge is about six steps from the manshed. Oh how I suffer for the cause....

animated frame by frame! ( that's my guess since it's a 1985 film)
So far as I remember, each of their films took five years to make!
