Careful now, I was chastised last week for saying a 1/32 Hurricane from Tamiya would be a license to print money. đ

Fabulous work! Awesome that Eduard put out these parts.

I donât feel Eduard overscales any of the riveting on their new kits. At times I canât tell if they are raised or recessed. What they produce is a visual representation of something that is there.

1/48 - Hawker Hurricane family by Eduard - in project
Scooby replied to Homebee's topic in The Rumourmonger
That is exactly what he is saying, Armaâs releases have been fast and furious and each run has been selling out. Hopefully Tamiya is listening and will release a Hurricane in 1/32. A Hurricane is a license to print money. -

Just let us get the 1/48 kit before you confuse them with a 1/72 release!

Wow, all those decals would drive me bonkers.

Awesome build, surprised your put the carbon rod on this early. Iâd definitely knock it off or impale myself on it.

Nice work, the checkers look great. When I worked Hornets the squadron (441 Sqdn) in the hanger next to us painted on of their jets in checkers. They made the mistake of leaving it out overnight the first night after the paint job. We played Xs and Os on it with a tub of grease. Letter that jet was transferred to our squadron and we altered the paint work, we painted Lynx heads on all the light colored checkers and put Lynx footprints all over it.

Magic Factory 1/48 F4U-2 Corsair
Scooby replied to coolingthunder's topic in Ready for Inspection - Aircraft
Nice build, there is a way to extend both wings, you can use the spar from the extended wing and use it on the folded wing, Tom Cleaver did it over at Modeling Madness. -
No, I think a Hurricane Mk I would have been more sensible, since the market is starved for one. The 109 will sell well and I will buy one but a Hurricane would have smashed the numbers.
