  1. My kind of thread having gone over to 144 for good. Well done on the A-model kits. Perhaps you'll try their Lancaster in Canadian markings? My favourite is the Neptune. You've made the Minicraft 707 look particularly nice as well. Thanks for posting.
  2. Lovely model - well done! Re the top of the tail, I think all -135s might have a thicker bit at the top as they were added later (they were built with shorter tails). Happy to be corrected. Vulcanfan
  3. Great finish on this! Thanks for posting. I've built this and the Roden C-141 and remember the landing gear being a real problem on both of them, but worse on the C-133. I also think a good starting point on Roden kits is to put the decals in the bin! It's great that they're available though.
  4. Great photography too. I love the desert runway.
  5. That's beautiful. I'm building the Minicraft WV-2 with Caracal decals at the moment and if it looks half as good as yours I'll be really pleased! I'm going for 131388 with the dayglo. Yes the Minicraft kit is basic, but the shape looks okay to me (unlike the cockpit windows on their EC-135 which is my other project - how could they mess that up?) Regards, Vulcanfan.
  6. Great idea and beautifully presented. I am reminded of crash sites I have visited on the hills where you can find pieces of aircraft which have lain there for 60 years or more. Regards, Vulcanfan.
  7. Just found this amazing thread. That wasn't model building, that was DIY! Many congratulations on your creation.
  8. Excellent work and this first time I have seen this aircraft modelled. Thanks for posting.
  9. Lovely job - well done! Is that a Vulcan at the top of a wing-over in the background?
  10. You've done a marvellous job of that. Thanks for posting. Vulcanfan
  11. Looks fantastic, and from an old kit too. I'm building the Revell 747 SCA which I think began life as an Airfix offering. Now way my mediocre skills will bring it up to the standard you're showing us here. Regards, Vulcanfan
  12. The green finish is great - you've captured the different shades on the RAF examples well. Thanks for posting. Vulcanfan
  13. Nice build - thanks for posting. The example at Fort Paul is well worth a look and fun to explore inside. Regards, Vulcanfan
  14. Wow - that's brilliant. I have recently watched a lecture on youtube from the Western Museum of Flight about F-105s in Vietnam, and this aircraft is mentioned with particular reference to how it excited the tanker crews. Thanks for posting. Vulcanfan
  15. A lovely pair of models representing the aeroplane which started it all for me. Regards, Vulcanfan
  16. Lovely - thanks for posting. Didn't know about the nose gear - next time I'm near a Trident I'll check that out. Please post your 707 as and when it's ready. I made the version in Air India colours which are really eye-catching, but I've never seen one posted (maybe because the engines on the kit are terrible so few people build them). Regards, Vulcanfan
  17. Lovely. You've done a great job with the Roden decals which look too shiny on my Roden C-141 (must post some pictures one day). Regards, Vulcanfan
  18. You've made a really nice job of the Typhoon (I built the kit a few years ago and it looks nothing like as good as your does). The Tornado looks great too! Regards, Vulcanfan
  19. Love it! Very bold! Thanks for posting Vulcan fan
