Hi everyone! I’ve been lurking around the edges of this forum for a while now, watching and learning and thought I’d better introduce myself. I’ve been modelling for about 2 years now after a nearly 30 year hiatus. At the moment I have a big thing for WW2 FAA aircraft, mostly in 1/48. I’ve built a Corsair, Sea Hurricane and Hellcat. I’m working on the Special Hobby Seafire MkIII at the moment which has tried my limited skills to their very limits! Next up is the Hobbyboss Avenger which I’m intending to build as a MKII of 849 NAS. I’ll post some photos when I’ve worked out how! Happy modelling, Chris.

Fantastic work. I’m watching this one with great interest as this is next up on my bench once I have finished the cursed Special Hobby Seafire! I too am a scratch building novice and am going to attempt the observer’s cockpit.
