  1. Very nice Karl, love the base! Tim
  2. See here: http://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=31014 There seems to be a lot of demand for this part due to it being damaged, probably because of Revells horrible weak end-opening boxes eh? Tim
  3. Nice one Shaun, Very skilled airbrushing! Cheers Tim
  4. Nice one Chris I've got the Tamiya 109E 4/7 in the stash and I hope it comes out as well as yours! Cheers Tim
  5. Nice one Darren, People seem to be going Canberra Crazy! Cheers Tim
  6. I added some detail behind the seat out of fuse wire and scrap styrene: I've done the cockpit, and painted up all the bits, given them a wash and dry brush, and a flat coat. I've dry fitted everything, and it all seems fine, no problems apart from maybe a bit of filler round the cockpit 'lid'. Cheers Tim
  7. Maybe , are you in the ATC then? Anyway I've almost finished the pit, should post some pics tomorrow. Cheers Tim
  8. You didn't see nothing! Sorry forgot to rotate them, sorted now via photobucket though! Cheers Tim
  9. I've made a start on my Canberra, I'll be using the Model Alliance Canberras Pt 2 decals, and an Aeroclub MB Mk2CA ejector seat. Box Shot: Cockpit so far: Aeroclub seat: And I'm thinking of doing an early variant, WT339 I'll give them a spray of Nato black tomorrow Thanks for looking Tim
  10. Has anyone got any detail photos of the area rear of the pilots seat? Looks a bit plain in the Airfix kit and I would like to spice it up a bit. TIA Cheers Tim
  11. The one and only! I'd heard bout it on here, and went on a monday to have a look, they werent officially open but let me have a look round, really nice blokes and is my new model shop now Cheers Tim
  12. I had no problem last year, I bought their Harrier GR7/9 off ebay, and the clear parts arrived snapped! I emailed their UK branch, and got a reply saying they would send a request to Germany for the parts and I should get them in a few weeks. I received them soon after, no proof of purchase or anything needed, just like Airfix pretty much. It may depend on who is processing your request. Cheers Tim
  13. Looks a beauty mate, I just bought one from my LMS in Brum for £4.50 too! Looks a nice beauty of a kit, with easier cockpit masking than the earlier variants Cheers Tim
  14. I'm confused, whiffery? Whats what-if about this build then? It looks quite authentic to me, lovely weathering, looks spot on. Tim
  15. Lovely build of an unusual aircraft there Shaun Tim
  16. Hey Chris, I completed my first stringbag last year, the Monogram/Revell Sopwith Camel. I would guess they would be fairly similar. My build thread is here: http://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.p...=camel&st=0 Hope you can pick up some tips from it. I mean to get around to building an SE5a to accompany my lonely camel. The best tips I can give you is: filler ( ), Bobs Buckles for the rigging, some old net curtain for the seat and lots of patience. I look forward to your build mate. Good luck Tim
  17. Thanks guys! I've added the nav lights since I took the pics as I kinda forgot about them Cheers Tim
  18. Thanks for all the kind words folks, they really mean a lot Cheers Tim
