You've said it was a challenge to build, but I wouldn't say it has exceeded your skills as you've produced a great model!

That is a lovely model of a lovely airplane in a lovely livery! I'm sorry to hear you have decided to semi-retire from modelling. I hope you find joy in whatever future endeavours you undertake -
Stunning! I'd say that's a perfect level of weathering for, as you say, a well used machine

As said above, it's nice to see a wildcat in the colourful pre war markings! Great finish! Might try letting my wife pick my next kit.... -
Oh very nice! I love a tempest, and I have the ProfiPack iteration of this kit to do, so I'll follow along if I may? There's a proven link between hobbies which require focus, like modelling, and a lowering of reported stress levels. I know that this hobby of ours as helped me when I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed at work; hopefully it will do the same for you 😊

Absolutely stunning rendition of one of my favourite aircraft! I have this kit in the stash, if it comes out half as good as this I'll be happy! I'm particularly enamoured with the subtle weathering and the little chips around panel lines, just beautiful

Oh man, so many decals. I must have used half a bottle of micro sol trying to get the decals to conform to the sidewinders on mine! Great finish on yours, and it looks brilliant with the bucc! -

I've seen that done before and it does look very nice! I've got a corsair calling to me at the moment, so I might use this tactic with that
