- From the research I've carried out, Pavla have made mistake here. The cockpit divider terminates with a "T" shaped part under the fixed (fore) part of the canopy, not between the crew ejection seats that Pavla's drawing shows. While writing, can anyone out there advise me with respect to the following: Converting the original Zvezda 1/72 Su-24 kit to "Su-24M" status - What are all the visual external differences? - Refuelling probe on the nose - Different antennae/pitot tubes? - Wing fence changes/additions? - Duct additions? Where can I obtain ALL these specialist parts? I can't locate the nose cone for 1/72 scale, and given this, may stick with simply building the original Su-24 as-is! Unfortunately, due to work commitments, it's going to take a while too!

Wow! Excellent build! Most impressed with your work. I'm new here, just starting out with the build of the very same model (commencing with the cockpit), and would appreciate your input please! I purchased the Pavla Su-24 cockpit upgrade and the Eduard Zoom photo-etched parts for this Zvezda model; while the Pavla parts state that they're suitable for the Italeri kit, and the Eduard parts for the Trumpeter kit, I don't see why they can't be used to improve the Zvezda kit. However, I've noticed an anomaly with the structural cockpit divider that sits between the two crew ejection seats: Pavla appear to show the divider the wrong way wrong. Despite searching online for a suitable photo confirming if my suspicions are correct, your cockpit build shows exactly what I was looking for! Pavla drawings show the "T" part of the divider between the top of the ejection seats; your cockpit build shows the "T" part at the other end (finishing under the fore windshield, not under the canopy components above the seats). Did you come across this problem with the cockpit build?

Just came across this. AMAZING work. I'm so envious, and wondering how I'm going to find the time to build the collection I have! The Su-34 is an amazing aircraft. Ugly? I'd consider it to be like the Jane Asher of the modelling world. Very different, yet attractive all the same. I'm totally fascinated by it!

Hello Andy I'm not in Northampton, but was delivered there many moons ago! Welcome aboard. I'm a newbie here too! - I'm just making some accuracy changes to a tiny (1/72) scale Russian pilot whose oxygen mask pipe was a web attached to his body, rather than a pipe! I'd send a photo, but how do I attach one!?

Hello everyone I'm new here, and I'm already impressed by the worldwide modelling contingent (that I hope include men AND women). Was wondering if any of you can point me in the right direction with respect to finding out the actual uniform colours for modern military Russian pilot uniform? I've carried out a lot of searches online, but to no avail!  My immediate plans are to build a collection of Sukhoi aircraft, commencing with (possibly, haven't fully decided) the 1/72 Su-24 from Zvezda. Tiny figures (bought some from Pavla), I know, but what colour is their uniform? Where can I find out this information, with reference to manufacturers model paint types that are available in the UK?

Hello Dennis! Thanks ever so much for the feedback and the amazing photo of the Su-34 with the crew - as well as where best it may be for me to post my RFI! It's great to hear that this is a diverse multi-national community. - Somewhat saddened though that a number of the crew members were lost during training in two Su-34's last week in The Sea of Japan, and the also three of four crew in a Tu-22 that broke it's back on landing in a heavy snowstorm too last week Have utmost respect for the crews - from all nations and countries, West or East.

Hello Richard Wow! I'm most impressed with those Vulcan models AND the extras. They look stunning! I'm new here, however the subject brings back many memories and thoughts for me, having worked at Woodford for a short time, having witnessed XH558 fly by our house several times (much to my wife and mother-in-law's excitement!), and my own break from model-making spanning around 35 years - that has only just got underway again!
