Just a small update concerning the Meteor FGR 2. In the recent Hyperscale article about my Meteor FGR 2(http://hyperscale.com/2008/galleries/phantomfgr2fm_1.htm), I mentioned that I had built new burner cans. Since I have received a couple of inquiries about those, thought I would post a closer picture of them.
To answer any potential questions, No, I will not do them for others—my poor old aged eyes will not tolerate another session of shaping and gluing two sets of 20 actuators each, not to mention getting the two molded parts (for each can) to fit properly. I would try to make molds, but with the larger space behind the petals, not sure one could do it; at least not at home.
I also have to mention that I have sent the Sidewinders off to the armament shop to be replaced with ones that are more accurate for an FGR 2. Have to admit that all missles pretty much look alike to me----
Any other questions about the model, just yell.
