      Hi

       

      Its from Roger Lindsays Cold War Shield Vol 1. Unfortunately there's no date against the picture but the aircraft history section shows 973 was only on the Sqn between 10/03/53 and 16/07/53 before being written off Cat 5 when it hit trees on approach to Gutersloh killing Flt Lt Philip John Dight.

      Neither can I quite. Given its short life with 79, I wonder how much if any modification was made from that photo? Pity about its ending. RIP.

    Hello mate. It would seem the only shot of a 23 Sqn T4 published is the one in Scotts book. I don't know if you've seen the picture but it doesn't unfortunately give much away. Hope its of interest.
