Thanks for your comments guys, much appreciated. Alpha sorry I only have one picture as I don't usually take photos of my models. I took this one to try out the camera on my new tablet. I think I will post pics of future models now I've got the hang of posting images.

Hello everyone. This is my first posting of a model and there is only one pic and not very good one at that. Anyway it's the old but excellent Hasegawa p-47 in 1/72 finished with a combination of xtradecal and skymodel decals. And apart from Pavla resin wheels ots OOB.

Evening all. I attempting to paint a yellow and black spinner on my fw 190d from jv44 and I am struggling to do this. I tried tamiya tape cut in thin strips measured from the bottom straight edge of the spinner but this was rubbish I'm afraid, not straight or even at all. Is it a question of practice makes perfect or is does anyone have a foolproof way of doing this?
Thanks Allan

Hi there, I have just bought a ripmax compressor second hand from ebay and I am a bit disapointed in the noise level. Having read some posts regarding them being quiet I thought it would suit my needs but it seems to me very noisy. Maybe I'm expecting to much. Is it just that some people's definition of quiet is different from mine? Phil@promodeller says that if they are noisy then bearings can be replaced easily. Does anyone have experience of doing this? Is it easy or is this again relative to a persons experience? Any suggestions would be helpful.
Thanks Allan
Hi all. What about the ESCI Tomcat in 1/72. How does it compare with the other kits. I only ask as I just bought one off ebay. A total impulse buy done without any clues about the kit or the F-14.
