  8. Evening all. Managed an hour tonight to finish off the decals. Those black stripes were tricky and will need some touch up with paint when dry. hopefully more progress soon. cheers Allan
  9. Afternoon all. for this group build I'm going to do a corsair from the El Salvador airforce display team from the 60's. I had no idea this existed till I was looking for decals for this build. These corsairs were apparently painted white with blue bits on the cowl, rudder and wing tips. A search of the web didn't come up with any pictures that show things like landing gear colours so these will have to be guessed at. Anyways I'm not sure when I'll get started as I'm in the middle of a p-47 for that group build but hopefully soon. Cheers Allan

  11. Thanks for the the advice Steve. One question, are the airbrush ready or do they need thinned. It doesn't mention anything about thinning on the bottle so I'm thinking maybe you don't need to. Cheers Allan

  14. Excellent work so far. I've got that same decal sheet you have and often think about doing that scheme but the curved paint round the cowl puts me off. I'll hopefully get some tips from your build. Cheers Allan

  19. Thanks Patrice. I'm putting on the decals now starting with the black edging to the yellow stripes. It's going OK but the decals are quite thin so break easily if moved to much. Cheers Allan
