  1. Evening all.Well I'm hopefully going to start this kit this week, better late than never. I'm not sure about my choice of colour scheme now as I'm struggling to find any info on the web about the Salvadoran aerobatic display squad particularly the colour schemes. I've not found any photos, only illustrations of the schemes. I would like to have an idea about colours of wheels, wheel Wells etc. Does anyone have info on these areas I would be happy for any hints if anyone can help. Cheers Allan
  2. Top job there love that colour scheme Cheers Allan
  3. I'm up for this one count me in please. Probably Tamiya in 1/72
  4. That is certainly different to most other colour scemes, looking forward to seeing this one done. Cheers Allan.
  5. I'd have to agree the drop tank is nicely painted so I'm expecting good results with the rest of the plane. No pressure now. Cheers Allan
  6. Looking good there Sean despite your fight with the decals. As for Pitots I put them on but they never stay on for some reason, most of my models seem to lose them without a trace. Cheers Allan
  7. Nice work Cookie. Love that shiny metal. Cheers Allan
  8. Once again I'm impressed by the speed and quality of your work Steve, how do you manage it? Cheers Allan
  9. Excellent work there Rich. The weathered paint is very well done. Cheers Allan
  10. I agree with Sean I would go with the Citadel. I've used the Citadel for brush painting small parts and found them to be easy to use and with good reults. Cheers Allan
  11. Looking good there Cookie. Can't wait to start mine. Thanks for the build tips. Cheers Allan
  12. That looks to be a great NMF finish you've done there. Top job. Cheers Allan
  13. Thanks Cookie and Rich. I'll give this some thought over the next couple of days as I won't manage any progress due to work. I hope to have it finished this week so I can start on the Corsair GB. Cheers Allan
  14. Thanks Sean and Cookie for your thoughts. I'm not sure about it myself. Having looked at the photos of the plane I'm not convinced that the panel line wash works for me so I think I'll take it off. Cheers Allan
  15. Well done with that cowling decal it looks really good.Stix don't fear the NMF I'm sure you'll nail it. Cheers Allan
  16. Evening all. Well I'm making slow progress with this. I've gave it a panel line wash but I'm not sure it's too much. I wasn't sure if I was going to do it but I went ahead and now I'm not sure if it's too dark and unrealistic. I'll post some pics and would welcome any thoughts. I can always remove it as it's not been sealed with a varnish yet.
  17. Fantastic Cookie. That is a superb NMF finish and top job with the decals. Cheers Allan
  18. Looks great Steve. Once again your quality of work is exemplary. cheers Allan
  19. No doubt another lightning fast build Steve. You'll have four finished before I've finished one. Looking forward to this one that box art looks good I might be tempted to get one myself. Cheers Allan
  20. Evening all. Thought I'd post a small update as it's been a while. Made some progress on the small items such as bombs, rockets wheels and the prop but I find these bits tedious and my mojo drops at this point. I think for my corsair for the GB I will do these bits first and get them out the way. Anyway I thought a couple of pics of the prop will do at this point. hopefully it will be finished later this week. Cheers Allan
  21. Excellent 'Little and Large' cockpits there. cheers Allan
  22. Looking good there Pabbi. The Tamiya Razorback does seem popular in both 72 and 48 doesn't it? Cheers Allan
  23. That looks great Cookie. The more this plane is taking shape the better your NMF is looking. As Giemme said you can see the reflection of the insignia, I'm well impressed. Cheers Allan
  24. Wow. Matthias, that is very impressive. I know nothing about modern pointy jet things but it makes me want to build one although it would look nothing like that. I particuarly like the pictures with the airfield setting. Cheers Allan
