  1. Hello Aaron, and welcome. I'm new to modeling myself so can offer nothing in the way of knowledge, what I do have is a friendly hello for a new member I also came by to admire your 'little guy'; being my first model (still a work in progress) I am always interested in what others have come up with. Looking forward to seeing more. /salute Edward
  2. @Procopius - Well met sir other Edward. I was sold on the site after my first visit. The community seems quite friendly and helpful. @Corsairfoxfouruncle - Hello Dennis 😃 regarding the cold I hear ya. I almost couldn't wear flip-flops today and was forced to wear a sweatshirt in the morning. Thankfully winter was over by the afternoon and it felt somewhere in the 80's. Thanks for offer as well it's appreciated. Being new I have a lot of learning to do and with it will come plenty of questions. @SA80A2AR - Hello and yes it is, I think so anyway. Hard to go wrong as a starting build, and so cheap I had to get a second one after I'd assembled the first. I had a lot of fun researching and putting it together. It's not high on accuracy but a solid kit otherwise.
  3. Better late than never they say. My build will be ... So then, after a month + sitting on the shelf it's time to break out the tube of testors and handy pair of toenail clippers and get to gluing this pig. I noticed only after the kit arrived that the front of the box said "for skilled modelers...". I wont tell anyone if you don't. Kit Contents - I so got this (hold my beer).
  4. Hello all, my name is Edward. I am fairly new to the site and to modeling. My modeling experience until recently was as a little nipper. I twisted parts off the sprues and poorly glued two of them together, a stug and a jagdtiger. They were doo-doo and I loved them. Time past. Memories faded. It was sometime around turkey day and to my best recollection I was watching chinese t-shirt folding technique videos, before I knew it I'd watched every Plasmo modeling video. Because youtube. After a couple of Andy's and others videos I was on Amazon. Amazon suckered me in with a tamiya pzkw ii model at $10.88. How could I not buy that (x2)?! Next thing I knew I was buying glue, paint, brushes, modelers tools and umm yeah. Bad Amazon. Then after a very long wait, my stuff was on the slow boat it seems, my first (third) build began. It's about 50% as of yesterday and going better than expected so far. With slow boat time on my hands I found myself on reddit r/modelmakers which in turn pointed me here. Well played reddit. With a few weeks of lurking under my belt I thought it might be time to say hey, yo, what's up all. Hey, yo, what's up all.
