  3. Thank You all. I made some chips on a old model. H.30 to blue, I think I'll go for H.163 or Revell Aqua 68. Some say Tam. 81 is good, but I think i have the wrong batch, to olive. To light. A good picture of a original war Spit will do the thing... Han
  4. Hello Everyone, Next q. What is a good match for the dark green for a Spitfire Mk.V in Dark Green, Ocean Grey and Light Gray. I tryed several greens, from Humbrol (163), Tamiya (XF81), Revell Aqua (68) and GSI (330). These are the brands I have. Some of the colors look to dark, to green, to yellow. So, please, help me with a good match. For me, The Tamiya's are "wrong" . Han Vroomshoop NL EU

  8. Hello All, I'm building the KP 1/72 scale Mk.Vb. This will be my first airbrush job. Hmmmm, not the first job, but the first one with 3 camo colors. I will use Tamiya paint for this job and I presume to start with the lighter color (MSG). Then Ocean Grey and at last Dark green. How to spray the last color? Free handed or with masks? And what kind of mask? Paper, Maskol by Humbrol? Need soem help with this job. Han Vroomshoop NL

  11. Hello All, I have the Revell 1/72 scale Hawk on my table. Started a little detailing on the cockpit and watch some color pics on the net. I'm confused. What is a nice cockpit color for the HawK? I have paints from Tamiya and Revell Aqua ( the blue square bottles). Why? My LHS have them.... Please, can somebody help me? Han from Holland EU
  12. Hi All, My name is Han, 60years old, married ,2 daughters and 4 grand children. Living in the east of holland and working in a factory were they produce sleeping systems. My modeling interest is Aircraft. Mostly Jets, but also like props... My favourite scale is, of course, 1/72. I'm building mostly oob, sometimes adding some detail with plastic card or copper- or lead wire. Painting with a cheap, Chinees, airbrush. Member of IPMS The Netherlands, chapter East. Not special interest in Dutch AF, I like foreighn AF. Han
