  1. Impressive model!!! Your post brought me back to my early childhood: I was 4 years old when my father bought this kit and made it under my eyes: it was during Christmas holiday. Time to time I tried to remember the name of the plane (I was aware that it was Matchbox 2 color), but I never succeed. Thank you so much for this travel in the past. Francesco
  2. Fantastic build and awesome ambient reproduction.
  3. Very nice and clean realization. I like very much the idea of adding the pedal and the back of the pit with panels. I've just read that Italeri is reboxing this ESCI kit in 2020 (as well as they did with F16's one) ... I admit that I would like to buy it, even if I dislike the material of the safety belt: you made a good job, but I am not sure to be able to make them realistic.
  4. Thank you, I bought it almost 1yr ago, but I immediately realized that the oob approach would not result into a beautiful model (also because I did not find the gauge's decals in the box 😮) Unfortunately I am quite novice and I am trying to exercise on old models before starting with modifications. The characteristics of this car that mostly hits me are the front grill and spoked wheels. The effort (and braveness) that you are put on these parts has great value! Quieto
  5. I have the same kit of yours. I follow your post with great interest. I read that the copper wire in your hand is 0.4mm sized. In real world it would be almost 1 centimeter ... I am not familiar with car spoke's size, but it looks like quite big... isn't it? Is there someone that knows the thickness of Alfa's spokes? (I confess my unforgivable ignorance) You are doing a great job. I follow you Quieto
  6. Wow! Very interesting camouflage! Definitely ... cool!
  7. It is fantastic! I like it very much how did you realize the metal shading: extremely realistic and balanced. A masterpiece!!!
  8. Great model and fantastic topic. I saw the film so many times that I can't remember the number. Are you going to realize a diorama?
  9. I am working on Revell's kit. It is the Heller's one: you are right, Revell includes the decals for instruments...quite nice actually. My first impression about this kit is that it needs some extra scratchbuild, but oob assembly can have reasonable results as you show us. The plastic does not receive the pigment very easy and sometimes the green plastic come out. I preferred to fix the pigments with clear varnishes to avoid any accident.
