  1. I will give that a try ! Thank you!
  2. Thank you for the responses. I could use some pointers on using pledge Floor wax on aircraft as a gloss finish prior to decaling. My concern is afterwards once the decals have been sealed, can you spray a flat finish over the Pledge such as Testors flat or even a semi gloss finish? Is there a recommendation on what to use?
  3. I have been told on many occasions that Future or Pledge Floor care gives great results when dipping canopies in it. I agree it does. However- I was also told it’s a great top coat prior to decaling. Not sure on that because I’ve done exactly what was instructed and for whatever reason I have a white haze surrounding my decal. The bottle says it dries in 20 - 30 minutes. Well, I came back in roughly 12 or so hours and started laying decals down- and that’s when I started to hear the “Physco” music and was overwhelmed with a lot of unsavory words. I’m not sure on what happened. If it was the interaction between the decal solvent and my 1st time effort, or the fact that it’s about 68 degrees in my basement or all of the above. I know this has probably been covered before, I’m new and I could use some guidance- Thanks !

  5. Hello - my name is Chris, I am a new member. I have been modeling on and off for 40 years. I have a passion for propeller driven aircraft but will occasionally dabble in a jet or two. When I am not building aircraft I am working on my railroad. I have a wide variety of aircraft in my modeling stash. I really wanted to improve my modeling skills. I have always been interested in joining a modeling “club” to help me in modeling as well as communicating with others who share the same passion as I. Unfortunately, I don’t have any local clubs, so I am looking forward in sharing as well as learning new skills and ideas from others. Thanks again!
