  1. As expected, Eduard's decals are excellent! They react as they should to MicroSol. What a relief after my previous project Thank you Eduard!
  2. Ready for decals! There are some little imperfections here and and there but overall basic painting is done.
  3. Red stripe is really distinct!
  4. Well, this was a tricky part to get right. A lot of small pats get together and form the complex structure. The kit is a joy and I'm looking forward to start painting it!
  5. This is the "old" kit and I can only imagine how good the "new" one is, because this is already excellent!
  6. Brilliant! Very interesting aircraft and superb work. I really admire this level of skill!
  7. A new project - FW 190 W.Nr. 431007, flown by Heinz Bär.
  8. Great job and very good photos - she's really massive! And +100 points for extracting this kind of result from Kitty Hawk kit!!!
  9. Thanks, it was a really good idea! I already fell much better )))
  10. Hallo! Well, the project is complete. I wouldn't say that I enjoyed the build. The kit goes together only when being asked politely with a gun in your hand. A LOT of cutting, sanding and so on. It looks like Eurofighter to me, but Revell was just l lazy engendering this kit. Manual is nicely printed but sloppy too. But it's a cheap kit, so no offence. Just don't pay more than 20 Euro for it. Anyway, it's a great opportunity to try new techniques and improve your skills. I've used some aftermarket parts. Eduard 49367 is adequate and helps a lot to detail the model. Reskit (from Ukraine I believe) wheels are really nice. They are a little bit smaller than those in the kit, I think they are correct. And now ModelMaker decals. It's a piece of crap. I almost decided that the model is ruined. Everything is wrong with this product, colours, fonts, size and so on. Instructions are laughable. Very sloppy job, simply don't buy it. I don't know about other products of this producer, may be they are better, but I wouldn't use anything from them. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year everyone! K.
  11. I do think so, but unfortunately I have a Tiger version and all the stencils are messed up with these "Tiger stripes". Anyway, I am committed to finish the model without additional investments, by now it's a kind of willpower exercise ))))
  12. Slowly getting there... Not impressed by the decals, stencils are worthless, their "shade of grey" is totally invisible on top of FS35237, Luftwaffe colour of choice. Size of the tailart is slightly incorrect. Sloppy job by ModelMaker. Or may be they had Italeri kit in their minds?
  13. Luftwaffe has a really nice colour combination! Time for more masking.
  14. I really fell in love with the shape of the plane and decided to build it with canopy closed. Open one kinda ruins the beautiful line from nose tip to the tail. Kit though doesn't impress at all.
  15. I just had enough primer in my paintbrush to cover one ))) So it is not white, it's "natural: Revell plastic 🙂
  16. She has wings! Canopy is a little bit tinted, just like the real thing though I must admit I haven't seen a real thing yet. Anyway overall shape looks right judging by the reference photos. Intakes were a nightmare (lots of putty and sanding, sanding, sanding) but fitment of other parts is actually not bad
  17. So far the only thing that I can say about the kit is that the cockpit is really a piece of junk. Nothing fits without careful cutting! BAD!
  18. Hallo everyone, This is actually my second WWI build. The tank is tiny, I fall in love with this cute little thing in Paris. Kit is excellent and a joy to build!
