    Classic Airframes B-57B 53-3898 8th BS/35th TFW, Phan Rang AB, South Vietnam, 1967, quite a challenge, not really a shake and bake model, built oob, tail code and numbers as usual made by mask and painted, figures are PJ and Aires, ground support obviously my production.

    I finally managed to finish one of 104 Italeri I had just bought when available, It represents an F-104S CBO (fighter-bomber) "mud movers" based on Rimini AB, assembled oob apart the AMS Seat (very good indeed). Decals are a mix of great Zotz and some (poor) original Italeri, numbers as usual are painted with mask cut with the plotter. of course I added some parts of my production like SUU-21 dispenser, pylons with sway braces and a couple of inert Mk82.

    This particular GPU it's widely used by late eighties until today by various air forces for a large type of aircraft, from F-16 to C-17.

    I don't have pictures of French Mystere, but at the same time (early sixties) on this side of the Alps (Italy), drop tanks were on simple carts and installed by hand (obviously empty), nothing really technical, the loaders like Mj1 came after.

    Hi all, I'm back at work after a unwanted long break, I've finished a few small products that I had on the bench for a very long time, now I've the time to work on other medium/big projects (most in 32 scale) that I hope to finish by winter. Forgive me for the poor quality of the painting, in the hands of a good modeller will surely make better.
