Picked up the -J just now. I've been using Scale Hobbyist as a source for finding aftermarket PE and Resins. Is there any other source for finding companies you guys are aware of? I guess my office will just have to have both the Revell and Italeri. That shouldn't be an issue unless the wife starts looking close! Josh

Hello All, Hobby Lobby has these in stock for a little over $15 USD. Is the kit worthwhile to pickup and add some PE and resin to or am I better off waiting on the AM re-box from Italeri in a few weeks? I'm assuming the Revell kit is the Monogram one from the late 70's or 80's? I guess my question is more accurately should I pick up both or should I just wait on a -J variant from Italeri to along with the -G? Josh

Thanks! I'm seeing several options from different companies. Do you have any recommendations as far as quality and ease of application? Trying to make the first build back as pain free as possible.

Hello All, I recently decided to get back into building model airplanes while visiting my parents a few months back. I found an old PBY-5 kit in 1/48 scale sitting in my old bedroom that I had never gotten around to building. It flew back to California with me in carry on! Now I'm just waiting on my compressor to ship and I'll be ready to start building! In the mean time I ordered the Typhoon Mk.Ib bubbletop kit from Eduard. While looking at the website I saw "overtrees" for the same kit. My question was about decals. Will the kit I recently ordered have 6 complete decal sets so I can use the others on the "overtree"? If not is there an aftermarket maker for decal sheets? Sorry for the questions, it's just been a very long time since I built a model airplane! Hell the brands I remember building growing up all seem to have disappeared! Josh Also saw the car door overtrees. Are there any decal sets out there cor this kit?
