  1. Hallo Now, after some weeks and days here are now my present results. Due to the fact, that my husband has much more time as me, he is retired, I try to keep up. All his results find their way in my thinking of modelling. It is quite a fun, to followy some well explored way, it is a wellcome imput to my own skill. So you may now see all wings are finished. Assembly of the wings and installation of etched parts. Spraying the wheel bays Installation of the Landing Lights and Navigation Lights. Spraying the turbochargers polishing of the wings Today I work on the cockpit preparations. Preassembling and grinding plastic parts ready for etched parts or 3D decals from Eduard Space. The ancestor of the P-47, the P-43 Lancer, which belongs to this family too: P-47D Razorback from Tamiya P-47D-25RE Bubbletop from MiniArt P-47M Bubbletop from Tamiya P-47D Bubbletop from Tamiya Happy modelling
  2. Hallo Now my 1830 engine for the Lancer is done. Here you may see it: Happy modelling
  3. Hallo Here my R 1830 engine for the Lancer. The kit by itself is a short-run kit. That means a lot of delicate fidling and correcting, support material has to be added on some areas too. The engine was the first thing to do. The cowling is in progress, almost finished. So have a look: Happy modelling
  4. Hallo Now all my R2800 engines for my P-47 are done. Also rigged for the ignition. As my husband already wrote, the MiniArt cowling is tricky to the outmost. It took nerves! The lower airintake for carburator and cooling is a fiddling process. But I had to keep in mind, that this area has the same visibility and eyecatcher habit as the intake of a jet! So I kept doing very careful. Well so far. Now plastic work on the fuselage and wing has to be done in the next days. Happy modelling
  5. Hallo Now I show you my engines. Since my husband had the idea to put all our P-47s in progress in one thread, I liked this idea. During the last days I was ahead, but since he is fine again (after a foot surgery) he is in hot progress. So we have a nice challenge on this fields beside life. It is fun. Well, my engines are four, since my Lancer is not here yet. The MiniArt engine is the most detailed one far out! The Tamiya engine is good, but in detail there is a major gap to MiniArt standard. The Quickboost resin engines are a disappointment. The engine is too small! The holes for the push rods are far from correct! A typical resin disappointment! Well, the spraying process was straight ahead. The painting finally was fun. In small areas I changed to MC color branch from Gunze, these colors are used to paint figures and are most colorful and dry fast! So have a look. The engines are not fully finished yet! Happy modelling
  6. The Translation: Left Wing: I Have to live Right Wing: The wind rises Happy modelling
  7. Hallo This is my biggest jet ever built. The F-15 or F-16 were small. Now this kit was the Hobby Boss 81715. Actually the kit allows you a built straight ahead. The details of a Su-27 are relevant, since they all repeat here with some changes of Chines way of course. The photos I found in the web were quite a few, which showed me details, to relay on. I used Quintas for the cockpit, some other aftermarket products, which I do not remember all. The Galaxy masks are a wonderful thing, since they are also a good guideline for the paint-job also. So have a look! Happy modelling

  10. @Russmeister 101 Oh, it's just amusing. It is not new to me that the results in model building are hardly expected of a woman. It's like hidden praise. Happy modelling
