  1. Well I did give it trial this evening. It's green and smells like Mr Muscle and performed like Mr Muscle so 750ml from Aldi for 75p is bargain basement Airbrush Cleaner and gets the thumbs up from me.
  2. Having recently started airbrushing with a Sparmax Arisma Kit using the Sparmax 4 airbrush I can happily say that Mr Muscle Glass cleaner (green) is a great and far cheaper alternative for cleaning the Airbrush. Saying that, it is a branded product, so today I bought the Aldi equivalent for £0.75p to see if more money could be saved as this is over half the price of Mr Muscle. I will report back after I've got some worthwhile feedback, it might be a few weeks as I don't get to do loads. Please feel free to give any feedback if you get to try before me.
  3. I would love to do this kit, I'm not massively experienced and don't have loads of spare time so like to buy kits that are are decent fit and quality....I just can't double up my time on cleaning flash and using filler. I've managed to do minimal filling on most in the last 8 years and was hoping for some positive feedback on this kit before purchasing. Any advice grately appreciated.
  4. Sharing the kitchen table means I need to be on the tidy side. The Me262 was the Hobbyboss kit, I was impressed with the quality of the whole package for the price. Bargains on eBay are becoming rarer so I'm starting to lean towards some of the new Airfix kits.
  5. Hello to all Modellers. Time to try and step it up from brush painting to air brushing. Been tinkering since childhood and last 7 years got back into it but with limited time. Only brush painting but seeing the difference an Airbrush can make has made me want one for a few years now.....only having the kitchen table made me think it wouldn't be possible to Airbrush but having come across a great Sparmax Arism Kit with a Max 4 Airbrush and the wife doing one with the boss......I can now take over the kitchen table. Mainly into 1/48 WW2 planes and the odd cold war jet at present and learning my 12 year old at the same time. Currently got mainly Humbrol acrylics, so hoping to swap over to Vallejo air and use up the Humbrol whilst learning the Airbrush. Purchased some Mr Muscel for clean ups and hopefully my IPA will back up if any probs cleaning up the Airbrush. Done a few old kits to get back into it and starting to get a few new Airfix too. Don't have loads of time but enjoy doing the best job I can within reason and always looking to learning.
