    I am currently building the miniart p-47 and it is very nice kit but the one thing I find a nuisance is every part has a multitude of sprue attachment points even on the smallest parts. Many of these points are on the tiniest parts that make removing the nubs difficult.

    From research I did when modelling a Misty FAC F-100, they carried the rocket pods only on the outboard pylons to avoid smoke/exhaust ingestion when the rockets were fired, that might occur when carried on the inboard pylons.

    It seems to me that the 1 piece canopy was a limited time item. 2-3 years ago I contacted Hasegawa to get some 1 piece canopies that I paid them for. They sent me the multi piece sets instead. Oh Well. They still come in handy. I have not seen them in a kit for a while. Geoff M
