good evening everyone, day 344-48 sorry about the pants photos, but now the freezer has moved out of the mancave, and its waining, so no wheelie bin, plus the mancave has had a bit of a sort out so i have to find somewhere to take the shots for tonight spent some time tidying up the front end, but even tonight i see the spirit yard is not sitting right i will label up a lot of the lines in the next day or so but today was sorting out the fore mast truss, i have to cut the lines to the jeers to do that, serves me right for not doing it in order (again) horses still to be sorted, but in the right place and lots of loose ends still

good evening everyone sorry for not doing my pointless daily updates, quite a lot going on in my life at present, one of them being the new pup anyway Indy day 252-16 completed redo of main lower ratline yep i completely ignored @chris watton instructions, to use natural hemp provided thread, and stain black, yet again i did it my way, ordered black in various sizes, which arrived and i used the wrong ones, however they look ok ish, i might replace one or two of the saggy ones, but in the right lighting you cannot see them

good evening everyone thank you for all comments and likes day 213 -8 forestay snaking - possible subject to a redo having completed both sides of the lower forestay shrouds and rats i moved forward to put the forestay and preventer snaking in, having now done them twice now they still dont look right, i have adequate tightness on the stays and the snaking thread is not pulling them in, but at a distance they look like they are being pulled together

good morning everyone thank you for comments and likes days 207-7 fore mast yard i am aware i am doing this all the wrong way around, and that certain things need to be done first, however i wanted to know to myself that i was still able to do certain tasks, having now proved those tasks i can go to the conventional way of rigging my build, i will still continue to work forward to aft, but concentrate on getting the Ratlines done before the yards fore yard made made slings being fitted Jeers

good morning everyone gardening, and puppy arrangements as well as PC gaming have got in the way of the Indy, never mind though its not a race, even though next build is planned LOL on table 201 -7 days when i put the Catharpin's in everything around the futtock staves looked bulky, so i redid the futtock shrouds and Catharpin's again and again it was 4 times before deciding to leave them, not brilliant but not looking quite as bad then made a decision that may bite me in the future, to go ahead a put the bowsprit on, as this was already made up and ready to go

good morning everyone thank you for comments and likes well i have made it to day 176-6 (days since start minus days no work on her at all) without abandoning/getting bored, or falling over her channels, made up in 3 layers, and pinned bow area now being tidied up, and addition of deck fittings, some of these will be added much later on, to reduce snagging when it comes to rigging starting to add deadeyes and chain plates having fixed two chains into position i am now moving onto the masts, because, we have a new puppy arriving in 6 weeks so i wanted to get some of the bigger jobs out of the way making the gardens puppy proof was first hand has taken a couple of weeks masting this used to be my mancave, moved on since then but still handy for the big messy jobs milling machine makes this so much easier two lower masts now made up and in primer, i think they look ok
