  1. Did you weather the wiring and drop a few greebles in here and there throughout your house to make it look more authentic?
  2. Do multi-part stencils. See the attached diagram. If you don't want to do 3D printings a better alternative is a Silhouette Cameo (available here). They can cut stencils out of card stock which you can apply over curved surfaces. You can develop your art in Adobe Illustrator (or some alternative) then send the 2D file to the Cameo. You can cut the Alignment Piece (see the diagram) this way too. You're a custom graphics guy (given what I see in your other builds) and a craft cutter with its ability to cut custom stencils for airbrushing whatever your mind can conjure would be a good investment of your hobby dollars.
  3. Rather than waiting for printed decals just 3D print a paper thin stencil and airbrush the logo on. Simpler single-color designs should lend themselves to a stencil quite well. Plus using paint for markings is better because you can chip it and vary its coloration which is more difficult to do with decals.
