Ok here she is
The plastic looks good. I wonder if there will be any at Duxford on Suday?

That looks good! One of the chaps at my model club kitbashed two of them into a very large aircraft carrier!

Great model as always, Sandy. In case you build another one, 120 gms plus an Aeroclub metal seat is about right weight wise. What did you use for the dipole aerial?
Tony

-
That looks great Paul. What colour did you use for the undersurfaces?
Tony

-
That's a nice looking piece of kit (excuse the pun). Are you going to kitbash the Heller/Airfix kit?
Tony
-
Mike, Neomega also do a very good replacement cockpit tub which has a lot more detail than the Aeroclub one. it does not include the tailpipes though so the "money no object " option would be to buy both of the AM sets for the Ultimate Hunter.

Superb builds Will. I have to agree the TBM3 is a bit special.

Lovely job. you didn't hang about did you!!

Is that the crew entrance door I can see dangling below? I know it was hot yesterday but.....

Andy, I went to Newark the other day and saw WV787 in the flesh. The entrance door on the Airfix kit is only slightly too deep and filling the panel line through the wind break door will sort that out. You will need more than the stated 100 gm though.

As a Canberra
and very partial to PR7's it has to be said that the Goldfish Bowl is the best, but Im biased
However, the B57B onwards was a very well redesigned aircraft and as far as Im concerned the only thing wrong with the B57xx series was they werent fitted with ROLLS ROYCE AVONS
As for airfix, I'll be interested in how they pull this off with the variants they have planned, so fingers crossed they dont balls it up. I cant wait for the 72nd B2's as all my other 10 Canberras are all 72nd

Bexy
Hopefully Airfix have learnt from their own mistakes from the 70's and CA's from a couple of years ago. Very promisingat this stage though.

Exciting!!! Better start putting my pennies away now.

Well - in the stash there is:-
Another falcon vac-form with some Kiwi Wings resin bits and bobs
Aeroclub B6/B(I)6
Aeroclub B2 x 2
Classic Arframes TT18
Classic Airframes B2
Classic Airframes B57
And a couple of Airfix Pr9's on order...
I will definitely need a new set of shelves

Darius
Me too as I have three B(I)8's, one each of the CA B2, TT18 and T17, an Aeroclub B2 and eagerly await the arrival of the Airfix B2 of which I am rather scared as to how many of those I will get. The PR9 can't really be ignored either. Oh well.....
Is there a Canberra SiG? If not there damn well ought to be!
Tony

-
Well done, Darius!

Nice to see one finished to such a high standard Graham. I started one but unfortunately it beat me. I still have the decal sheet intact if anyone wants it.
Tony

-
Outstanding collection. Looking at the Aeroclub B6 I think I can see where Airfix got their fin size from. Do you plan to build any more?
Tony

-
Great job again, Sandy. Shame that the two builds won't be able to be seen together.
Tony

-
Very different, great job.
As I once said at model club FM translates to Fit Mal.
Tony

-
Indeed not, esoteric from the 50s would be a Swift, which I would actually like to see new tooled in 1/72.
Agreed, also in 1/48th along with a Scimitar.
Tony

-
Lovely build Bex, would look good next to a Nimrod.
Tony

-
Now your talking, can I have a 1/48 ..... belvedere, sycamore, wasp/scout, Westland Sea King HAR 3, a new wessex and whirlwind..................................
The Sea King can be done from the Revell/Hasegawa kit with a Flightpath conversion. Not cheap but stunning results can be achieved.
Tony

Edit. I'd hardly call the Meteor esoteric.
-
I'd buy one or two and I know somebody who'd buy a squadron.
Tony

-
Great work so far Jon. But ugly???????
Tony

-
Great stuff, Jon, up to the usual high standard. Are there any pictures of the build on your website?
Tony

Sorry,Jon, Should have read the title!
