  1. Looks even better than the original, IMHO. The gondolas are interesting, methinks. Tony
  2. Brilliant Job there Glenn. I biult the 1/48 Trumpeter kit and that's a fair size so yours will be a real stopper. Tony
  3. I've still to do mine (sorry, Bex) but be warned, it states on the bottle, "Aviod Prolonged Contact with Plastic". Obviously, "prolonged" can be very flexible, just thought I would let you know. Tony

Hi skii What about Lifecolor Dark Sea Grey, UA108? Cammett (http://cammett.websds.net/) sell it, it covers very will and seems to go on for ever. At £1.85 a pot it's good value too as you get 22ml for your money Tony
  5. That's a great job, Tony. I know from first hand axperience that Classic Airframes kits can be achallenge at the best of times but the majority of them are worth the effort. Tony
  6. Cor! How much masking tape did you use there Stebos? wonderful paint job, reminds me of the B25 camera ship used for filming "The Battle of Britain". Tony
  7. That looks good, Antoine. I've used Lifecolour paints for the past few years and have to say they are the best paint of any format I've used. Tony
  8. Great work Stebos. I know the Special Hobby bi-planes tend to fight you all the way (i've started the Albecore but.....); you have produced an excellent model. Tony
  9. Many thanks Bex and Dave. I've got some of the Tesco stuff (we paid 34p - bugger!) so I'll give it a try and report. Tony
  10. Hi all Does anyone know the best technique for stripping back acrylic paint after it's been covered by Johnsons's Klear. I have used Mr Muscle to remove "bare" paint and wondered if the same could be used post Klear. Having brush painted my first Airfix B(I)8 and being less than happy with it I would like to "start again", this time with my airbrush which was used in anger for the first time last Tuesday. Help and advice wuold be much appreciated. Tony
  11. Up to your usual high standard, Phil. Have you got anything in the pipeline? Tony
  12. There's nothing madcap about that, Graham. She'll be a real showstopper. Tony
  13. Thanks K. I was on the Thomson Celebration earlier this year on the North Cape cruise with my Wife and outlaws and we were buzzed by one of these as we crossed the Arctic Circle. Tony
  14. Very good job, Chris. What do you make of the brass cockpit? Apparently it's rather what-if... (not my thoughts) Tony
  15. Great pics, was it circuits and bumps? Tony
  16. There's also Mr color Brass which can be polished up. I bought some for my pre-war bi-plane models ani it shines up a treat. Tony
  17. The stretch is only fitted to the PR variants; the overall fuselage length of the B2 and B6 were the same. All this means of course that the forthcomong Airfix B2 cannot be made as a B20 as this was based on the B6 rather than the 2. I wonder if anyone has told Airfix? Tony
  18. Just a thought, but wouldn't the wings from the B(I)8 fitted to the B2 fuselage produce a B6? A bit ofan expensive way to go about it I suppose....... Tony
  19. A FIVER did you say? That's looking really good. Are the Fruilmodel tracks expensive? Tony
  20. I've heard a rumour that Revells big brother is due for re-release soon. It will be interesting to compare thetwo. Tony
