  1. Hello friends, some recent photos of work. The old decals had to be thrown away and replaced with new ones on eBay. The work I did on this project 9 years ago turned out to be very difficult, I hope that the new set from Revell will be of better quality. Thank you all for your interest.
  2. Hello my friends! A few more photos of the work process.
  3. The technology was this: at first I painted with gray primer, then I wanted to get a dark mahogany, so I took Tamiya's XF-52 as the main color, painted them, then I took a thin brush and started to lightly apply Tamiya diluted XF-64 on top of the main color giving texture to get a lighter wood, you can use XF-57 as a base and apply a texture with diluted XF-52. In general, you can try many options. And most importantly, then varnish everything, otherwise it will be a tree on the street, and not in the car.
  4. Hello my friends. Another old MGB project from Aoshima, as always with many improvements: belts, rivets, headlamp caps and much more. Enjoy watching!
  5. The windshield was in very poor condition, cloudy and scratched. I had to sand it and polish it.
  6. Then there were no such model belts, and I took a Velcro for clothes and cut off the edge from it.
  7. I cast a spare tire from epoxy, made some more small parts and painted them.
  8. Hello my friends! I want to show you my another old project that I built in 2012-2013. This is the Triumph TR2 of Gunze Sangyo company in which I made many parts myself. Enjoy watching!
  9. Trying on the front suspension and a bit of gray primer.
  10. I built this car 10 years ago, and I had no information what it looked like. I was just trying to create at least an external resemblance. And fix the Heller mistakes. In the section of the model line, I try to describe in photographs how I built it.
  11. The bottom of the body had to be cut so that there would be no seams on the body.
