  2. It must be pick on Dan night tonight ..... Mike ...port tank is 99% done and the STB is 80% done, not long now..honest Mike W, F-14 intakes, both are 99.9% done Clif, sorry mate, Its going to be the green/grey wrap around !! Right then back to the F-16.... I mean slipper tanks !!
  3. Cheers Periklis, Were getting there slowley and it's an enjoyable kit to build. Looking forward to doing the Greek Airforce paint job on her. Regards Dan
  4. And the next batch of pix from last nights session, Corrected Nav lights ( Hatchet, cheers for pointing that out) And the CMK CFT's cheers Dan
  5. Funny really , wheres Mike the MOD, he normally helps you Hijack my threads Chris , he must be in his pit early ? Or ill ?
  6. Chris.....its 2 years for you to crack open the box mate
  7. Cheers Clif, My secret is to take my time, I average about 2 years for every build, I must say that i'm really enjoying this build, the kit isnt too bad and so far so good, stay tuned ! Dan
  8. I used this as a reference, now to cut a mask for the toothed strengtheners and apply some Mr Surfacer!! only Joking Dan
  9. Quick update, just hacked the CMK parabrake housing off as it was lacking in detail and grafted the kit supplied housing, a touch of fetteling and its almost done. The kit part is much better than the CMK housing and adds some depth around the parachute. Sorry for pix its getting dark here !! Dan
  10. Hi Angels49, What scale are you building? Is it the 48th jobbie or the big boy 32nd? Regards Dan
  11. Cheers Hatchet, I'm using the CMK Block 52 European conversin set as its far better than the resin in the Hasegawa kit, I'll have to do some more research into the nav lights. I thought CMK would of got this small detail correct. They have probably just used some existing parts for other conversions I guess? ( Edit) Just checked the Hasegawa resin parts " Doh " they are correct !! You live n learn, sometimes they do get it right!! Cheers Dan
  12. Cheers for that mate, thats something new i've learnt and its clear, the F-16's are a nightmare to keep up with All the Block numbers and changes are crazy. Made a start on mine today which has the NSI intake. http://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.p...=19096&st=0 Cheers Dan
  13. Here you go folks, Just in the rough out stange at the moment, most of the time spent was taken up with sanding back the Aires pit. nothing to drastic and I would class it as one of the better fitting cockpit sets. Grafted the Aires HUD onto the new CMK nose front, being careful not to damage the blade antenna A touch of brass for the wheel wells Air intake has been glued and the awful ejector pin marks sanded off, must say that the large mouth intake is much better ( Not Used ) More to follow Dan
  14. Cheers Jens I'll use the NSI intake then Dan
  15. Morning all, This has probably been asked before, which intake size is correct for the Greek F-16D Bk 52, Hase show the small intake but in some of my referrence's it states that most airfames after Block 30 had the large intake? I've just started on my kit and would like to get all the details correct, pix posted later today once I have done a few more bits. Cheers Dan
  16. Hi Mish, The Revell boxing is the same as the Hase kit so you shouldnt have too many problems, saying that the Aires cockpit set is a bar steward to fit anyway ! Dan
  17. http://www.modoracle.com/news/Oldest-Spitf...ml?category=all R's Dan

I've been waiting 6 weeks now for a Super Etendard cockpit, I think its the normal for them, last order took a year to come through which was for a Sea Harrier pit set. I'll give them another week before I chase up the order. I do find calling them best rather than emailing. They are not the quickest for sending out orders ! Dan
  21. Mish, In this months Air Modeller David Parker builds the 110, he has found the same issues as you and shows how to work around the problems, so its not just you that have found some fit issues with the kit. Sorry I was too late in posting this but you seem to have it all in hand now. Dan
  22. Charlie, Any good RC model shop should stock Piano wire in various diameters as its used for landing gear and servo push rods, should be easy for you mate. Dan
