  1. Smashing Job Mike, considering the quailty of the kit or lack of it, you did an amazing job in getting this one done to a high standard. Can't wait to see the M1A1 now. Dan
  2. Very nice Pete, really like the crew figures done very nicely Dan
  3. Ok here we go, another small update, Drivers Hatch is now done with the scopes added, some details I've left off because I want to get this 3 year project finished. Stowage is being painted up and lots of Alice Packs done, Next up are some sleeping mats and MRE boxes. Enjoy Dan
  4. As usual Pete, another fine model shaping up .... Great work Dan
  5. Nice that Sean, did a good job ! Dan
  6. Cheers for the comments everybody, Not much has been done over the last few days, hence no phots. Hopefully later today I'll do another update with the work so far. Regards Dan
  7. Looks nice that Mike, the bergans have painted up really nice. So whats next in Mikes Armour workshop? Dan
  8. Not much of an update, but here's whats been happening over the last few evenings. A few more paint chips in the front office, and the divers switchboard added. Second seat added just behind the drivers seat, (this is probably not accurate for a M2A2) Work on the drivers hatch, first off getting rid of the ejector pins And then adding the lower half of the scopes, these are from MR Models A bit more work on stowage, the sprocket ring is from an old M2 Bradley I had, Mike did the honours in sanding it back. Cheers Dan
  9. Nice work Pete , so can i send over the Bradley crew for painting then ? Looks like you've got the crew figures well and truely cracked Looks great R's Dan
  10. Mmmmhhh .....decals should of gone on first and then weathered with the vehicle, Uuppps!!! You can try and seal the pigments with a flat varnish but it might change some of the tones, worth experimenting with. Dan
  11. Hi Mike, I'd just overspray with a slightly darker colour, too me it looks a little too light. It doesn't need to be too much darker so keep the spray within the light areas...does that make sense ?? The main body top and sides look great, just need to break up the areas with your pigment mix . Just needs some variations in the tones Dan
  12. More Pix, Most of the interior is now in place, still have another seat to paint and what looks like the drivers switchboard. Enjoy Dan
  13. Next up is the driver figure, A bit of cutting and shimming to get him in but its looking okay at the moment, next up is the arms. Just waiting on the Magic Sculp to dry before I go any further on him. Dan
  14. Now this is starting to look the part Mike Great stuff Dan
  15. Hi Richard, I think that Hannants sell them now, but I bought mine from AFV Modeller, the last time I was looking on their site they were out of stock. www.afvmodeller.com Regards Dan
  16. Yep Pete, correct for 10 points. Great little items that really make a difference. Bought them about 3 years ago and this seemed like a good project to use them. Dan
  17. Some phots with the compartment test fitted. Regards Dan
  18. Not much left to do now, just adding the stowage andpainting up the figures, I've got a driver figure from Dragons Modern US tank crew set which will have a replacement Hornet head. Hopefully he will fit without to much modification into his new home. The other thing left to do is the detailing the inside of the drivers hatch, it needs the bottoms of the periscopes added. Dan
  19. They did get rather dirty Mike!! I'll be adding another round of pigments (dry mud) just in the drivers area, and I noticed that I missed out a seat so that will need painting and weathering, hopefully later today. Dan
