Hi
When i was in devonport dockyard, as the falklands was kicking off, the dockyard painters were mixing batches and colours of paint to make south atlantic grey as there was none available in NSN stocks
as you went past the frigates moored on the dockside on the river tamar, i don't think i saw one that was the same colour south atlantic grey

Hi
Not sure of the accuracy of it
would a revell 1:32 mosquito nose make a cheaper conversion to the 1:32 tamiya, or does the revell have shape issues

Hi
I have a italeri stirling IV and getting stuff ready before starting to build the one that visited western canada in ww2
my problem is i can't find a source to buy a H2S radome
i can't justify buying the new italeri III just for a H2S radome
would one from a lanc or halifax fit ?
any ideas ?
( i have tried wants section already )

I'd rather accept the code of the Heinkel pictured was G1+EM (with G1E in white and M in yellow)
Hi
Could well be as the crash report mentioned yellow spinners
and underside of aircraft painted lamp black, swastikas and letters obliterated

Hi
Found this on the web
you may know this already but just incase
"The ID discs of the crew indicated Gruppe III and Oberleutnant J Speck was the Staffelkapitän of 9/
KG55. The aircraft code lettering had apparently been recently changed to G1+EM and the compass
card which was dated 29th April 1941 also had this lettering, so it was assumed by Air Intelligence that
the aircraft and its crew had transferred to 4/KG55. The Bordfunker could not be interrogated owing
to his injuries."cheers
