Hi I was wondering if anyone has looked into it before, from what i see in photos, rcaf battle TT's don't seem to have the winch and underfuselage drogue box, but there are guards around the lower tailplane for drogue line safety, so did the drogue get lowered out of the bomb aimers hatch ? I am doing research into a future model rcaf 1656 battle TT at pat bay Hq flt, which from photo does not seem to have an underfuselage drogue box cheers jerry

Hi only thing i found via internet search was this but it gives info as AIRCRAFT INFORMATION Aircraft Handley Page Halifax II Serial NumberJN901 Markings LK-C https://losses.internationalbcc.co.uk/loss/222545/ apparently LK was the C flight code letters there were suggestions the best halifax II was to make the matchbox and revell into one kit cheers jerry

    Fuel prices

    Hi i would suprised if fuel prices and inflation do not rise, it might take a few days/weeks fuel prices seem to be based on world market prices not just by amount of local supply available in a country cheers jerry

  19. Hi the aircraft movement card for LL670 ( i linked in thread above ) shows it didn't leave 514Sqn until late sept 1944 which means it was in Sqn use " in late summer early autumn 1944 " when the bars appeared cheers jerry p.s. might be worth checking tbe Sq orb at the NA/Kew for info

Hi when i lived in tbe UK, my niche was local WW2 devon and cornwall aviation history subjects now i live in western Canada i focus on WW2 localish aviation history subjects since retiring i however find myself slowly drifting into hornby 60/70's model railways, back to my schoolboy days cheers jerty
