    I have seen this kind of thing a few times over the years, when some sets that I used to manufacture eventually go for high prices at various places online. Some of them have gone for quite surprising amounts too, in certain cases. Market forces of supply and demand, I guess!!

     

    As I have mentioned on here before, ironically I still own and possess all of the patterns/masters/moulds, artwork for all the photo-etch etc etc, and everything relating to the Paragon Designs range of products, none of it was ever sold on to anybody else.  Everything relating to my Paragon Designs range is still tucked away in storage.

       The stirling and Lanc (aries) were on seperate tours across canada in 1944, going back after reaching the west coast of BC

        All, long shot, I have dorted my info for a Short Stirlng & Avro lancaster in canada in 1944

       So now searching for info on Halifax a/c in WW2 

     

     apparently .....

     

    Handley Page HP 57 Halifax Mk. V (4), (Serial Nos. DG399, EB127, EB138, EB157), HP 61 Halifax Mk. VI (1), (Serial No. RG814), for a total of 5 aircraft operated by the RCAF in Canada.

         Floods starting to go down and highways slowly reopening here in vancouver area and lower BC 

     

      and the gasoline at the pumps hasn't run out yet 

         ( maybe rationing is working )
